Trump Awakens Kerry’s Vietnam Anger With Slam On McCain
The Daily Beast ^ | July 19, 2015 | Mike Barnicle

The Iran nuclear deal that could prevent a war must have evoked another deal to end a war almost 50 years ago in the Secretary of State.

John Kerry was angry.

“Listen to this. Listen to what Trump just said about John McCain,” Kerry was saying over the phone. “ ‘He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.’ ”

“That’s unbelievable,” Kerry said. “That’s beyond outrageous.”

“John and I have some serious differences on a lot of things but he is nothing other than a hero and a good man. Where was Trump when John got shot down over North Vietnam? In school? At a party? Where was he?”

For many months now, years even, Kerry has been point man in Barack Obama’s attempt to restrict Iran’s plan to develop a nuclear bomb. He has been a walking high wire act, traveling a region that is nothing less than a geographical bonfire filled with the debris of failed nations, countries that have collapsed into chaos and terror largely because of the contrived plans of men like Dick Cheney who dreamed of the day when Saddam Hussein could be toppled. The conservative ideologues got their wish while the United States got a larger, longer war and the Middle East became an even bigger source of horror and death....

As some posters pointed out this morning, Trump was clumsily repeating a joke used earlier by both Chris Rock and Al Franken. For that reason, it might be better for the libs to let this one slide.

Lol! And where was Kerry when McCain was shot down? Testifying in Congress about US troop brutality against the Vietcong, raising a toast with the NVA in Paris or throwing some purchased medals over the WH fence?

John McCain got more miles out of being a POW than 99.9% of them. Most of them didn’t get to milk it for all it’s worth. Keating 5 just proves that McCain is a corrupt as can be. He’s a liar and he’s certainly not conservative.

The only think Kerry earned related to the war was a prison sentence for providing false testimony before the U. s. Senate.

He should still be in Leavenworth for lying about our troops.

Kerry was in Viet Nam 112 days. In that time he managed to fabricate one Purple Heart every 37 days.

He and McCain have nothing in common

McCain built his political career on the fact he was a POW.
But he had to get into politics,it’s not like United Airlines was going to hire him.

Never mind that McCain routinely disparages millions of patriotic Americas as “crazies” and “hobbits”.

“Trump Awakens Kerry’s Vietnam Anger With Slam On McCain”

From the guy who threw his medals away and called our troops ‘Genghis Khan’?

That’s unbelievable,” Kerry said. “That’s beyond outrageous

That’s saying a lot. Kerry isn’t easily outraged. Has anyone heard him express outrage over the 5 deaths in Chatanooga this past week, or over deal with Iran that he helped orchestrate, that gives 150 billion dollars to a sworn enemy without even securing the release of 4 Americans? Yes, it must be pretty bad for Kerry to be outraged.

I would think that Kerry negotiating with the enemy in Paris while his country was at war and Americans were dying in battle would be even worse. Treason is punishable by death or imprisonment for not less that 5 years.

I’m sure Kerry will next come up with his sorrowful Christmas Eve in Cambodia.
