Scott Walker addressing the crowd in Waukesha right now. Started by reminiscing about a neighbor and scoutleader who was instrumental in getting him interested in government.
I thought I heard him say he disagreed with the global warming ‘scam’.
I believe he’s written more than a dozen. Some being used as text book in our top business schools
Great speech!
He ticked off all the conservative talking points. His writer is awesome.
I have been leaning towards Walker ever since he faced down the teacher’s union and won. IMO, he and Rubio are very good at staying on message and articulating basic conservative principles. Perry does a good job as well.
I’ve been kinda tepid toward Gov Walker to this point. But this speech has turned me around. Hes definiately been added to my possible contenders list ;)
(Paraphrase) “Need to approve Keystone Pipeline on the first day.”
He’s got the words, but can he push it all through ... :)
good news from now one of two republicans in the race i could vote for. writing a check.
We have Cruz, Trump, and Walker as First Tier. Carson, Fiorina, and Paul are Second Tier. The rest should just quit.
It's ok, we have another one.
And that’s why I’m for Cruz.
I escaped Mexifornia and saw firsthand how illegals ruin a place, driving Americans away. When they invade my new home, there will be no place to escape to.
Walker was once or twice for amnesty - that’s enough for me to think his recent conversion is purely political , not principles.
Hey, there you are!
I made your yogurt last night - it was the easiest and best ever! The sourdough is great made it twice-but still working on getting it mire sour.
“Hes got the words, but can he push it all through...”
As we’ve seen from some of our DISAPPOINTING CongressCritters that We The People PUT THERE this past fall, Washington will eat you alive from Day One.
Walker has been tried and tested dozens of times. I think he can do this. And I would settle for a Cruz/Walker ticket, too! Then a Walker/Whoever ticket for the next romp, LOL!
And if I’m wrong, it’s either Jeb or Hillary! so, seriously, what do we have to lose besides our Nation? ;)
You've outed yourself, a few other fools don't know it, but everyone else here does.
His "business genius" largely consists of leaving his investors holding the bag for failure while he escapes with his personal fortune intact.
Now there is no denying that's genius -of a sort- but I would count my fingers after shaking hands with Donald Trump.
“Calling this trolling is a mischaracterization. Using just pure Ad Homs against Walker would be trolling, but posting his record isnt.”
I don’t really care. I’m for Trump.
In the last election we won, WI was the narrowest Kerry win, and fraud decided it.
Paul Ryan may not have had made an impact as the VP nominee but Walker will carry it.
Besides, one way to gin up the vote amongst the Democrat LIV’s in WI is to tell them if you vote for him for President, you get him out of the Governor’s office. ;-D
Walker has a great ground game going on in WI. That was a necessity to pull off the wins he did against not only statewide, but nationally funded opposition. There will be small supply of rabid dogs going after him there, but as has been the case, their barks will prove to be way worse than their bites.
If Walker keeps on message and doesn’t have any major faux pas (he seems fairly adept at deflecting “gotcha” inquiries), I’d think he’d have a very good shot at taking Iowa in the primary and also in the general, should he be the eventual nominee. Do you agree?
I would think that there is nothing in his closet left to find by the libs and dems. They threw everything at him these last few years. It will be interesting to see what they “dig” up.
No Republican has carried WI since Reagan in 1984.
I do. He should be a/the top bet to win the caucuses (and I think that’s a must do for him) and should take the state in November if he’s the nominee. Certainly he’s the strongest candidate for WI and IA, and I think he gives the best chance in states like PA, MN, and MI.
Deflected a Trump question yesterday, smart move.
