Scott Walker addressing the crowd in Waukesha right now. Started by reminiscing about a neighbor and scoutleader who was instrumental in getting him interested in government.

Baloney!!! He comes across as a real down to earth American, not a phony like Barry or Donald.

LOL! I was just going to post the OPPOSITE!

He's improving but still he's no Ted Cruz when it comes to ease of communications.

Need to encourage families. Both parents were important to him and his brother. Talking about his kids and the American dream.

Ensure prosperity by being for a pro-growth plan.

No top down plan from govt. Build biz from ground up.

I think he's doing fine.

I especially liked hearing about his family, and how he worked flipping burgers to pay for college.

Walker was recently tossed by the Republican party in the state of Wisconsin from the chair of the WEDC.

walker is pro-TPP.

Walker was against ethanol subsidies but changed his position on that right before we all knew he was going to run for president.

And Breitbart has a piece on many of the candidates positions on illegal immigration, including Walker. Walker seems good at nuancing things and finessing things, like with illegal immigration. Same ol same ol we get from typical politicians:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/01/16/a-guide-to-2016-republican-candidates-positions-on-illegal-immigration/

Cruz and another person I shall not name are the only ones in this article who are totally anti-amnesty, have stuck with their positions on this, and have not flip-flopped to any degree on this issue.

He really isn’t a very good speaker. He looks wooden and not very genuine.

Wow...he's like a real american...

How do you measure being "genuine"

Good list....what about protecting children, grandchildren...the country from illegals? Any mention? Thanks.

That was the 2nd or 3rd thing he mentioned. Talking about repealing Obamacare. Reining in out of control Fed regulations that put a damper on growth.

I have no reason to dislike Walker, but so far I am not impressed with His speech. He sounds like a typical candidate.....just ordinary.

Okay, fine, I put the live stream on my iPad. He is, as others say, a bit wooden. And he’s sweating like Nixon. He’s lacking a smile. And repeating like a college professor lecturing...

talking about quality choices for families in publ education.

Every child deserves great education.

High standards set at local level — no Common Core. Take power out of DC and send it back to local level where it is more efficient and more accountable.

“We are going to use the ABUNDANCE of what God has given us!” (re: Energy will refuel our economic recovery.)

“I trust families and I trust parents to make the right (educational) choices for their children. I believe that every child deserves access to a great education.”

“I will take power and money OUT of Washington and send it BACK to the states!”

“Lower the tax burden for individuals as well as JOB CREATORS. Bring back jobs to America.”

“We can do it! We did it in Wisconsin and we can do it in Washington.”

LOL! He’s telling his ‘buying a cheap shirt at Kohl’s ‘ story again!

LOVE IT! :)

~ Governor Scott Walker
