LOl Beck pisses a lot of people off.If you are good in talk radio that happens automatically. Beck is mercurial at best but definitely has his moments.

Why should we assume Trump won’t win the nomination?

Still, anyone who is running right now is a long shot.

We’ll just have to wait and find out, but in my opinion, Trump would be better than the following:

J.E.B.
Christie
Graham
Kasich
Huckleberry
Pataki
Santorum
Perry
Paul

As good as:
Jindal
Fiorina
Carson

Not as good as:
Cruz
Walker

I’m SURE your—and other’s—mileage may vary.

True, it's just that immigration is the issue that hits a nerve.

I suspect Donald will have trouble with his past positions. If he's smart, he'll need to say I've changed my mind on: wealth tax, abortion, universal health care, etc......which is why I believe he'll have a hard time nailing down the nomination at the end of the campaign.

Jeez, Louise....immigration has taken him to the top of the polls and certainly into the top 10 for debates. He's mirroring Rush's rush to dominance by saying things so many of us know and believe but never hear from politicians.

Well, the South is BETTER since we ran the democrats off. Now there’s some REAL HATERS, let me tell you, son!

Note that the Klan died out down here right around the time the Republican’s took over.

Coincidence? I think NOT!

We're in lockstep with your ratings...as of today....with Cruz getting a slight advantage over Walker because of his Trump like "aggressive defense" of our positions. Walker, too, continues to stomp all over liberalism with the tenure changes this week. Love it. And the U of W isn't fighting it.

There is a groundswell of common sense, as we see in Walker, Cruz, Trump.

I don’t know exactly Trump meant when he said this.

Buy a pair of pants - street language for “ man pants” in other words grow up, stand up for what you believe in.

From the looks of the spineless republicans all over the South that are throwing their heritage under the bus instead of standing up for what’s right, they’re no better than their masters the equally spineless democrats! Old Glory was the preferred flag of the KKK. Try getting rid of that one! Old Glory flew over any slave ship that came to America. Old Glory was the flag of the United States when slavery was legal in every state! But for the feeble minded a Confederate battle flag, which was not the flag of the Confederacy is this great symbol of racism in America and not the other flag I just mentioned. Welcome to the Land of Oz, the land of make-believe.

All I saw was shoes, socks, and bare legs!

Isn't that how the friars did it, brown robes, shaved head, sandals?

Profiles in courage by the GOP:

George H.W. Bush, Shot down on secret mission over Japanese. Only pilot to return, others were killed outright, or beheaded after capture.

John McCain, POW for over five years in Viet Nam, remained even when offered freedom because his subordinates weren't freed along with him.

Bob Dole, suffered major injuries climbing Nazi held mountain in Italy.

Dwight Eisenhower, defeated Germany.

Gerald Ford, stormed into blazing inferno on bombed aircraft carrier, helping to save the ship from being destroyed.

All better men than I. How about you?

“John McCain, POW for over five years in Viet Nam, remained even when offered freedom because his subordinates weren’t freed along with him.”

And as many FORGOTTEN War veterans, we have no issues with this portion of his American heritage.

Now moving on to more modern times, this modern day Benedict Arnold has sold out the country he fought for. What say YOU

Dwight Eisenhower, defeated Germany.

Went to play GOLF after the congress would not work with him - The country had a growth streak. A real American

I no longer think closing the border is necessary.
1)Penalize Business’s who hire Illegals.
2) Per Donald, collect $100,000, from Mexico, for every illegal in a US Jail, or in Country illegally. Start with those who filed for DACA/DAPA. Either get the money direct, through tax, or attach a surcharge to every wire transfer from the US to Mexico

Love your tagline, AB! Applies perfectly to Trump. As “pioneers take all the arrows,” and “saying/doing x will get their attention.” A superb phase I read yesterday on FR’s live thread re Trump’s Phoenix speech was that Trump “plows the ground.” Kinda like an up-back in football does for the “running back.” (I apologize to the sports haters for using a sports analogy).

I disagree with McCain's political strategies. I don't doubt his courage.

It's hard to watch anything that doesn't have an agenda today.

Netflix:

Inspector Morse
George Gently
Ripper Street
Peaky Blinders
Broadchurch
Lillyhammer

That last one is a Netflix original, a "dra-medy" about a US mafia gangster who takes witness protection in Norway, and gathers a hilarious gang of Norwegian thug-wannabees, compromises socialist bureaucrats. The script sometimes beats on moslems.

The others are UK and may contain some agenda or reference to the Irish separatists, but it's not PC, or at least I can't see it.

I love how Trump lends his megaphone to Families harmed by Illegal Aliens.

I loved the two songs played as Trump left the stage.
1) Dee Snider’s (Twisted Sister) “We’re Not gonna take it (anymore)”
2) Real American. That was Hulk Hogan’s theme song and fits Trump! Also, a dig at 0bama and all of his lackeys?

Real American lyrics:
I am a real American, Fight for the rights of every man,
I am a real American, fight for what’s right, fight for your life!

When it comes crashing down, and it hurts inside,
ya’ gotta take a stand, it don’t help to hide,
Well, you hurt my friends, and you hurt my pride,
I gotta be a man; I can’t let it slide,
I am a real American, Fight for the rights of every man,
I am a real American, fight for what’s right, fight for your life!

Finally, those two songs are from the mid 1980’s, the Ronald Regan era!

Well, I do agree with you now on the Confederate Battle Flag. I mean enough is enough! Any Republican wanting it taken down or removed is a Republican I’ll never vote for.

Yes, once it stood for democratic hatred. It was democrats who hoisted it in defiance of blacks back in the 1950’s and 60’s. Yes it was. NO Republicans called for it to wave for THOSE particular reasons.

Yet this flag WAS. It is part and parcel of Southern Heritage so it cannot be misconstrued as the democrats once used it.

We have to be SMART enough to say—If you’re concerned that the Confederate Battle Flag is anti-black then thank the democrats—Fritz Hollins, Lextor Maddox, Bull Conner, George Wallace; the whole bunch of staunch racist democrats. But nowadays that is no longer what that flag stands for. It is a flag many, many white Southerners are proud of, not to suppress black people’s civil rights, but as the heritage, tragic though it may be, that CANNOT be forgotten. Many wear it as a symbol of Rebellion—not against blacks, but of high-minded government and authority. You on the Left applaud the establishment-defying spirit of college youth when they do so; why disparage ours?

Now, that is my evolved opinion of the Confederate Battle Flag issue. I am for the flag, but also for standing up to those who use it as an anti-black symbol.

But those folks are GONE. The Left want you to think that we who still support that flag do so for the same racist reasons those democrats did.

HOWEVER, my point is no one is doing that anymore since we drove the democrats out of power down here. They simply did not change parties, as elitist Liberals like to say—but racist democratism was defeated and replaced with pro-American, happy to live in racial equality, conservative Reagan Republicanism.
