There is little defense to artificial stupidity.

Well, artificial intelligence is real and a work in progress, computers require less input to work and perform tasks than they used to many years ago. I am just an 80s kid, born in 1984, but ask any of the older Freepers and they could tell you tales that would put the command line interface of DOS to shame. I personally feel it’s way more autonomous for a computer, which automatically does its tasks that had to be manually instructed years ago.

Another aging has been actor with no real contributions to mankind’s betterment striving for relevance. He joins a long list of irrelevant egoists who shouldn’t even have the two cents it takes to spout their nonsense.

William Hurt is a great actor. But he is an intellectual doofus who drinks progressive swill with happy abandon.

Actor William Hurt More Worried About ‘Monstrous’ Global Warming Threat
It isn't a coincidence that he played an intellectually challenged talking head ...

Acting appears to have an extremely destructive effect on intelligence.

But, then again, perhaps that is why these dolts are actors.

The progressives certainly fear theoretical killers. Never the actual killers. IS kills tens of thousands... Meh. Theoretically tens of thousands die due to atmospheric carbon increasing 1ppb... panic!

William Hurt strikes me as almost the quintessential girly-man. In every movie of his I’ve ever suffered through, he always looks like he’s about to break down in tears. What a pussy!

Climate Change is NOT “obviously happening”!

The Population Control crowd who are pushing this agenda don’t even have the integrity to be embarrassed about changing the name from “Global Warming” after eighteen years of proof there is none!

This is all about shutting down capitalism, energy development, industry, and personal freedom.

There are selfish people who don’t want the third world countries developing energy or economic independence for fear they’ll wise up and demand control of their own natural resources.

By supporting the fraud of man-made climate change, he is unwittingly supporting a political agenda against his stated interest in helping the truly needy.

It think Global Warning is a result of artificial intelligence.

Full Definition of ARTIFICIAL

1 : humanly contrived often on a natural model : man-made

(an artificial limb) (artificial diamonds) 2 a : having existence in legal, economic, or political theory

b : caused or produced by a human and especially social or political agency (artificial barriers of discrimination — R. C. Weaver)

3 obsolete : artful, cunning

4 a : lacking in natural or spontaneous quality (an artificial smile) b : imitation, sham

There will be no self-aware androids. No computer program can possess intelligence. No human will ever be able to write a program that successfully simulates human intelligence.

Thought experiment: can a human write a program that can conceive of and write a program that successfully simulates human intelligence?
