Leaders of the Catholic Church in America took their marching orders from the Popes encyclical on Thursday, fanning out to Congress and the White House to push for action on climate change.
The high-level meetings offered a first glimpse of a vast and highly organised effort by the leadership of Americas nearly 80 million Catholics to turn the Popes moral call for action into reality.
It is our marching orders for advocacy, Joseph Kurtz, the president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Archbishop of Louisville, said. It really brings about a new urgency for us.

Why should I wear my fingers to the bone when its all at your fingertips, right at this link?
Try example "C"
A. If you say something along the lines of the moderators might ban me for saying this, but
then you lost.
B. Anyone who says well, ban me if you want to, but
is actually saying; in the name of a loving God, please ban me because I am losing this argument so badly that my only hope of escaping it with a shred of dignity is if I can make myself out to be some sort of martyr to free speech.
C. If you claim to have supporting evidence available online, but instead of linking to it you say Look it up yourself, you lose. Similarly to the banning thing, look it up yourself clearly means please please please dont look it up yourself. Its an admission of failure.
D. If you invoke the name of a logical fallacy without explaining its relevance, you lose. Logical fallacies are not Harry Potter spells. You dont just get to shout them out and wiggle your wand to make magic happen. Plus, theres a logical meta-fallacy: Just because someones making an error in reasoning doesnt mean theyre wrong.
E. If you claim to be winning, you lose. This should be self-evident: If youre so desperate that you have to tell someone youre winning, youre obviously not. http://www.wired.com/underwire/2012/12/alt-text-internet-arguments

Then you should be able to go through Stapless book, taking each one of his quotations from Scripture, and show how he is wrong.No...
YOU should be able to go through Stapless book, taking each one of his quotations from Scripture, and show how he is RIGHT!

Read his book, then come back and show HOW he adds to, subtracts from, and twists Scripture. Again, no...
YOU should show HOW WE add to, subtract from, and twist Scripture.

I hope you are not, like others on this thread, afraid to read this book. I hope you are not, like others on this thread, afraid to actually defend Catholic teaching on your own.
Why do you FAIL to follow Paul's clear example??
Acts 17:2
And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

Almost is a just qualifier, wagglebee. For Isaac Newton's Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica ("Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy"), first published in 1687, was composed in Latin....It seems the transition from Latin to vernacular language was pioneered by Petrarch, mainly in his "Laura" poems. His close friend Boccaccio also chose to write his splendid Decameron in vernacular Italian.
I don't think I made myself clear enough in my earlier post. I was speaking of medieval Latin which began to be replaced by late Latin in the late 14th century. Late Latin is what Newton and others of his era used.

No one who is highly trained in the truth is ever afraid of counterfeiters.
Instead of spending my life seeking out and reading every new counterfeit and cultivate claim, I treasure, read, meditate and memorize God’s Word.
You made big claims, which you failed to support. If you don’t know what you base your claims on well enough to post facts and evidence, it is no wonder you would get sucked into this type of pagan belief.
If what you are saying is that your belief rests on another man’s book, instead of God’s Sacred Words, how pitiful is that? Especially for someone claiming to be a priest.
I truly wish eternal life for you.
Arthur, that’s just a sad revelation. The great news is that it is never too late to turn to The One God while you are still alive. Salvation and eternal life is so much better than worshipping false goddesses and other idols. Eternal life can be yours this very hour, if you turn to Him and from false gods.

I treasure, read, meditate and memorize Gods Word. "if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth." --God's Word
"If he will not listen to the church, treat him as a pagan or tax collector." -- God's Word
"Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." -- God's Word

STA,
Your wrested use of those passages has been corrected numerous times. I can only conclude you keep posting them because out of context verses is all you have to post.
The holy command, “Study to you yourself approved, a workman rightly handling the Word of Truth,” is one you should begin to apply.

STA,
Yet, it has been shown to you over and over that you have wrested them out of context in an attempt (it would seem) to make them sound like the church is above all. This is false, according to the context. If the context doesn’t support your claim, which it doesn’t in this case, it is a false teaching at best. A heresy at worst.
Yet this out of context falsehood continues to emanate from your account, like a FR version of Rain Man has seized control, “Wapner, Wapner, Wapner.”
Or perhaps it is simpler. We will never know. Carry on. It has been noted sufficiently that your use of these verses is distorted to fit (it seems evident) an agenda.
Best.

You might want to also look into "binding and loosing," which refers to indisputable ecclesial authority. (Matthew 16:19, 18:18)
I don't know how the Bible could be any more explicit.
And Protestants protesting proof-texting is ironic, since Catholics are also supposed to abandon Church Authority and Sacred Tradition (in contradiction to Scripture, for an extra layer of irony).
And we still haven't talked about the key of the Davidic kingdom.
