Last evening, Trey Gowdy was on FOX News' "The Kelly File" with Megyn Kelly discussing Hillary's old buddy, Sidney Blumenthal, appearing before his Committee. Blumenthal produced 120 pages of Hillary's e-mails that no one had seen before. Congressman Gowdy answered the question as to why Hillary had not yet appeared before his Committee. He said that Clinton only agreed to one meeting with the Congressional Committee and he wanted to be “on top of his game” so to speak, since he only gets one shot at her. The hold up is that John Kerry and the State Dept. will NOT release Hillary’s e-mails and he has no lawful authority to make them do so. Gowdy said that he did not have a "police force" at his authority to send to the State Department. He concluded with "John Kerry is the one who is standing between Secretary Clinton and the Committee."
Apparently you did not read what I wrote was the reason for her not yet appearing. I have no idea why you asked those two questions?
She was subpoenaed. Her Lawyer got involved.

Whether we like it or not Clinton is a Presidential candidate. If she is subpenaed and forced to testify it will create a firestorm and label the committee as a witch hunt right or wrong. It is a trap set by the Democrats. Gowdy is not biting.
He is not delaying, he is getting all his ducks in order so that he knows all the answers to the questions he will ask. Once she lies he has her. He does not want her to escape by asking what the definition of “is “ is. It is a chess game he is playing and winning.
Well for one, Nixon for all his faults believed in the rule of law and cared about this country and really was not a crook. On the other hand, what we are dealing with today are people who look at laws as something to be worked around and do not really love the country more than they do themselves. The political dance around this issue is mind-boggling.
The answer is a classic case of Occams Razor.
The answer is simple. She would have to testify under oath, and she is guilty as sin. Her husband was impeached but not convicted purely as a political accident at the time. She has no hope in hell of escaping perjury charges should she be forced to testify before a Congressional committee. Conviction and jail time are almost inevitable, and her previous performance as an amnesiac, claiming "I do not recall" and "I don't remember" HUNDREDS OF TIMES could not possible work a second time.
She compounds her arrogance by trumpeting her claim that she has "turned over all the emails" related to her criminal behavior as Secretary of State which are required by numerous Federal Laws. Felonies.
Why has she not appeared?
Because she's guilty as sin and there is no escape, this time.
As has happened in the past, the reason is obvious: political blackmail on a gigantic scale. If she "goes down," she will take dozens, perhaps hundreds of elected criminals, past and present, with her of both parties!
Remember the 800 FBI files that she "accidentally" and illegally kept for over a year?

Our government is completely corrupt if this is all going on with the Just Us dept. wasting valuable time on “social” non-issues. We are being ripped off majorly. Prior to the next ripoff of a crash.
