Hillary Clintons campaign on Monday showed its commitment to transparency and positive relations with the press by denying access to designated pool reporter David Martosko of the Daily Mail:
The Clinton campaigns decision to ban media access and force a reporter to pee in the woods simply because he works for a foreign newspaper is deeply problematic and reveals a disgusting nativism that has no place in American politics today.
The campaign denied this, naturally, but appears to have given contradictory, gibberish explanations to Martosko, who told the Washington Post:
[Clinton spokesman Nick] Merrill then insisted that the decision had nothing to do with the campaign considering the Daily Mail foreign press. We dont consider you foreign press, he said.

Special Note
I felt extraordinarily intruded upon trying to read the article with twitter comments on top, instead of the traditional location of readers' comments on the bottom after you read the article, and which I believe we're going to see more articles formatted this way.
From what I read over the weekend the CEO of Twitter was fired due to revenue shortfall and so I believe Twitter devised this very dumb, short-lived idea of putting twitter comments, reaction to the story before we even get to read it in the hope that people will be using twitter more often. The firing of Twitter's CEO was included in the New York Post' losers of the week feature and I suppose the idea of putting twitter comments at the top of the article will appear in this Sunday's edition of loser ideas of the week.

Probably has nothing to do with the Daily Mail running anti-Democrat news articles over the years. No message but the Party message is to be heard and all that.
Next up, FOX, your out too.
Unlike the American press the Daily Mail isn’t filled with democrat butt kissers.
Her campaign (meaning SHE) banned him because he works for a BRIT newspaper. To be sure here, the prevailing sentiment among many truth seekers and information vacuums out there DEPEND on Brit news papers for the truth, information and lots of it - including copious photos.
Her campaign (SHE) cannot have anyone getting a picture of her being helped off the stage, taking that badly needed swig off the bottle, or anyone of a hundred “optics” where she is just being what she is - it starts with BEE and ends with ITCH.
I noticed on FOX News Channel this morning that some of the older bald headed guys are starting to develop a “thing” for her majesty.
They run both side... unlike the American press that is fed their ‘news’ by paid democrat operatives... the liars and creeps dems buy ...
after what happened at McKinney last week, you’d think a pool reporter would be the last one you’d want to ban these days.
To Hillary and the dems, anyone that publishes anything that goes against the Democrat message = Fox News. One step off the reservation is all it takes.
Regarding Twitter, looks to me like the Beacon incorporated the tweets into the article. There are article comments after each tweet.
True. It has to do with the fact the Daily Mail might print something negative about Her Thighness.
Foreign outlets haven’t signed the same non-disclosure and CYA agreements with the Clintons, so this is totally understandable.
I’m sure it has absolutely NOTHING to do with supporting the American press. More likely, it is because the foreign press cannot be controlled and intimidated in the same fashion, and cannot be counted on to parrot the party line, and besides, it’s harder for the klinton foundation to collect the bribes and kickbacks.
It’s a conservative paper.
Ironically, this is what she and Zero meant by 'transparency'.
