FOOD FOR THE SOUL: THE CHOPIN NOCTURNES

This is full of strangeness and mystery, a muted slow waltz without the usual rolling accompaniment. The second section, even more sparse, is marked “religioso,” a hymn-like, chordal section in F Major that sounds a bit like Satie and ends the piece without a return to the opening material.
