Craig liquor stores pull New Belgium beer for supporting WildEarth Guardians ( Colorado)

Liquor stores and restaurants across Craig are pulling Colorado craft beers off their shelves due to the beer companies’ financial support to WildEarth Guardians, the environmental group that put Colowyo Coal Mine at risk of being shut down.

Stockmen’s Liquor pulled 12 brands of beer — including New Belgium Brewery — because they are listed as WildEarth Guardians supporters.

“We pulled those beers because their support of WildEarth Guardians... who said their ultimate goal is to shut down coal mines,” said Lori Gillam, owner of Stockmen's. “Craig is a coal mine town.”

WildEarth Guardians has a list of business supporters on its website, and New Belgium and Breckenridge Brewery are among their backers. Yet, after this story was published, the WildEarth Guardians removed the list of supporters off of its website. However, readers can view the cached website

Good.

Do these companies realize they are supporting the terrorism? That's exactly what these enviro-whackos are. Terrorists.

If they didn't know, now they will. And they will realize their actions have consequences.

Between the craft breweries supporting abortion and greenie weenies and the major breweries sponsoring homofascism, what’s left beyond homebrew? And do any of the supply companies likewise promote liberalism?

Oh, not this again. If we boycotted every company that did something we disagreed with, we’d be sitting naked in the middle of the woods.

The final company I worked for, a Fortune 500 group, was desperate to show their active social nature. They were (frantically, in my opinion) searching for causes to support. I suggested veterans or boy scouts. There was a sort of shocked, open-mouthed silence around the table. I realized, correctly, I would not be invited to another meeting. It turns out they were looking for PC cred. (Apparently, I missed the dog-whistle cues.) Since their customers were government militaries there was no danger that conservative groups would stop buying their weapons systems, though.

Thanks, they aren’t in my region but it’s good to know (and good to know that the name has meaning).

I suspect that some of the smallest microbrew startups have so little operating margin that they don’t donate much politically (except possibly to state candidates to ease restrictions on their industry).

And some of the breweries in Texas that I’m thinking of have been hosting pro-abortion events (political activity).

While they made inroads in the 1990s, liberal advocacy within corporations seems very high these days even though it does not boost the bottom line, benefit shareholders, or employees.

They fund movements in opposition to my political, religious, and ethnic identity. They impose political re-education in the name of "diversity training" and other corporate compliance programs (attend a lecture, or take an online video course, and sometimes you are simply tested on it afterwards to indicate completion of the training).

And still the Left insists that the corporate world (including Big Media) is conservative because "they are capitalists".

Just sent them a nice email letting them know that I will no longer drink their beer. Also told them it was quite the hypocrisy for them to profit from coal fired electric, and then support an extremist organization that wants to shut coal down. Not too smart a business model, if you ask me.

They are also a big supporter of Planned Parenthood. This is good beer that we have not purchased for several years.

Never heard of the organization. One would think that yoga teacher could have found a better picture than one showing her bra, unless that was the point.

Liberal groups have gone to great extents to force conservative advocates to disclose names and addresses of donors. Remember the short office span of the CEO of Firefox? The gaystapo found a small financial contribution by him to the California ‘straight marriage’ referendum - a list that gay pressure groups FORCED disclosure by legal means.

Here when liberals are EMBARRASSED by such supporters of their cause, they are attempting to hide that info. Sauce for the goose IS NOT sauce for the gander!
