Radio hosts from the New York station that hosted a major hip-hop concert where crowds clashed with police in a parking lot have condemned unruly fans.
Laura Stylez of the Hot 97 morning show criticized the people who threw bottles at police in northern New Jersey Sunday night. DJ Ebro Darden said Monday that fans also shouldn't have tried to jump the fence to get inside the venue.

From another source..." Barbaric the way they treat our people is like animals. If there was another concert this wouldve never happened, said one concertgoer."
"....our people..."? What's THAT supposed to mean? /s
I detect a lack of defecation, Dr Holmes.
Damn right. Most concerts I'd go to don't attract thugs who think it's their God-given right to jump fences to get in and to throw bottles at police.
Saw the Beatles Tribute band Rain the other night. The only thing that “broke out” was the crowd holding hands and swaying to “nanana” of “Hey Jude.”
I know — how bizarre!
There are very few venues that will book rappers — there isn’t enough insurance on the entire planet to protect them from the attendees.
No idea. I know: Let's ask Eric Holder.
Ummm, I think he just got pulled over on the NJ turnpike again.
I remember many years ago there used to be hip/hop night club in the Old Sacramento area of Sacramento, CA, which resulted in serious security issues there. After a fatal shooting there, the club pretty much was forced to close down.

Yep, definitely a pattern.
Complete disregard for other people, the rules of proper conduct, and other peoples property.
A certain part of society is broken, and continues to break.... due to failed librull policies.
Say what?? It’s rap music. (Or hip-hop, if you prefer.) The songs instruct and encourage people to behave this way.
Rap djs condemning this behavior is like Anheuser-Busch condemning drunkenness, or pushers condemning getting high, or pimps condemning harlotry, or politicians condemning bribery, or....
“Complete disregard for other people, the rules of proper conduct, and other peoples property.”
In their minds this IS proper conduct. They don’t see anything at all wrong with it.
And as far as they are concerned all property belongs to them. The only reason someone else has it is because The Man stole it from them.
Ever since white liberals started their “White Privilege” talk, it excused this behavior that you talk about. I blame them for a lot of it.
Excellent point!
Why don’t the black communities hold anti-rap violence marches? Rap is a major killer. Just read headlines of all those killed boys who were aspiring rappers and hip hop artists.
Biggie Smalls = Killed
Tupac Shakur = Killed
Scott La Rock = Killed
MC Rock = Killed
Kilo G = Killed
The list is long.
“Rain” is great! My favorite memory will always be having my grandson on my knee when they played “When I’m 64”.
