I cannot think of a more embarrassing CF of a situation for our military than how ISIS is being handled by our government while the military has to sit around and watch this unfold. I am so sorry to all the Iraq (1st and 2nd conflict) veterans.

ISIS has global aspirations. Hitler’s Nazis had global aspirations. They BOTH seek to conquer the world. How come we fought the Nazi’s but not ISIS? Wait, I know the answer to that but we mustn’t say it. Not acting on ISIS to EXTERMINATE THEM NOW will result in a bloodbath in the U.S. eventually. Failing to wipe ISIS out is a mistake of EPIC proportions.
Snicker. Foreign Policy experts didn’t learn diddly from Viet Nam. We’ll just train the govt. forces to handle the insurgency. Tschu! There is a cultural psychology at work here. People who are surrounded by trash heaps and corruption while living a struggle for minimal survival are going to make for crap soldiers. They got nothing to fight for in the larger sense, no notion of enduring “principle” beyond their day to day subsistence. They don’t even make for good mercenaries, who at least get decent pay. ISIS has substituted a blind fanatacism for principle, and they’ll fight only as long as they are being victorious. Take out their ideological “Imams” at the front, hand them a couple of tactical losses and watch the white flags come out. They are crap soldiers like the rest without their “political officers”, which is why they and every other dictatorship army has had them.
I hope they realize these modifications void the factory warranty.
