Wall Street wants Michael Bloomberg to run for president, but the billionaire isn't budging.
At the Yale CEO Summit this week, the talk was of "drafting Bloomberg" however possible.
The former New York City mayor seems like the perfect solution for Wall Street's problems with the current field of presidential candidates. The Street sees him as a centrist technocrat who adeptly managed one of the most complex cities in the world. They think he understands the global business community.
Rumblings about a Bloomberg run are especially strong at several bulge bracket banks, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Merrill once owned a 20% stake in Bloomberg but sold it back to its founder in 2008 to cover losses on its balance sheet.

He would be terrible for the economy through excessive social spending and weak foreign policy. Come to think of it, that type of leadership seems familiar.
His brain would explode from lying in bed at night trying to think of a way to regulate 300 million people into clipping their toenails more regularly.

The incumbent Mayor of NYC is certainly making his rule seem a lot less incompetent.
There are many things I do not like about Bloomberg as Mayor. He is liberal in many ways. But I gotta give this to him — he took the “Safe Streets” legacy of Rudy Giuliani and made it better. NYC became one of the safest biggest cities in the USA and yes, even the world.
Now, all of that is coming apart with this current Mayor ( who the vase majority of New Yorkers DID NOT bother to vote for causing him to win by default ).

Another article quoted him as saying it wouldn’t be a big problem to switch from Dem to Repub.
I am positive this is what they want.
The nimrod would tell ‘em that they can’t buy more than 32 ounces of sweet tea at a time and people would start looking for rope and a tall tree...
