Amidst the media euphoria surrounding the former Bruce Jenner’s gender reassignment surgery and cover photo on Vanity Fair, a 74-year-old transsexual who deeply regrets his decision has come forward to caution those who think that transgenderism solves people’s psychosexual problems.
In a CNN interview on Tuesday, Walt Heyer warned viewers that the relief accompanying gender reassignment surgery doesn’t last. After Jenner expressed exhilaration over the Vanity Fair cover, Heyer responded that such elation is normal, but transient.
Heyer acknowledged that “this is really the most exciting time in a transgender’s life.” It is, he said, “the debut,” when “all the things that you had hoped and thought about are coming about.” From personal experience, however, and from the many transgender people who write to him, Heyer says he knows “this doesn’t always last.”
“It’s sort of like, you know, going down to the bar and you’re having a good time and you drink it up good and then, you know, you wake up with a hangover,” he said.
In an essay earlier this year, Heyer offered a chilling autobiographical account of abuse and gender confusion, sexual reassignment surgery, a short reprieve from anxiety and eventually deep regret at his decision.
Heyer, now reverted to his male identity and married to his wife for 18 years, spends his energy raising public awareness of the disastrous penalties of gender reassignment.

What pisses me off about all this the most is all the people out there pushing this crap really have no skin in the game. (no pun intended) Straight people who would never join the army fighting to make the army allow gays to openly serve. Straight AND gay people who would never have a sex change operation pushing to make it acceptable to all of us.
Anytime a straight man tells me he’s for gay marriage I accuse him of being a closet fag and knows one day he might want to marry his boyfriend. It really pisses them off.
If I ever have a straight man tell me he’s all for sex changes I’m going to ask him “So, when did you start hating your penis? Is it so small that it’s an embarrassment to you? Does your wife make fun of you? Did the mean old boys in high school gym class laugh at you? And now out of spite you’re going to have it chopped off?”
Here's a prediction: Within a year - two tops - work such as that done by this psychologist and efforts like that of What Heyer will declared illegal, just like those of the folks who offer therapy and counseling for homosexuals.
Anything that doesn't fit the Liberal boilerplate will be against the law.

After all the real pics plastered everywhere the last few months, seems the “hangover” will happen when he-she makes his-her first post-Vanity Fair un-airbrushed appearance, and everyone realizes it ain’t what it appeared to be. Even though it ain’t ever gonna be what it appears to be. Whatever it is.
I agree, though many refuse to accept they were sexually abuse. They like to believe they were born that way. If one is born that way. Why is it ram down children’s throat in school?

Yes they are mentally ill. So they have issues to work through that they never do. Take the easy way out. And still suffer.
I’m going to venture that early man learned the evils of homosexuality pretty quickly from not just a spritual context but a from a practical standpoint of having to deal with it. Harm against children. Lack of procreation. Diseases that you would never catch from a female in addition to not being able to get along with two grown males living under the same roof. I believe God will teach them the hard way and they will learn that his world has certain natural laws and constants programmed into to eradicate evil behavior and pestilence when it rears its ugly head.

My highschool friend was abused repeatedly as a child. His adopted mom knew about it at some point, but did nothing to protect him. He’s a homosexual.
