The United States is being flooded with potentially dangerous, toxic imports from China. Between 2006 and 2010, the FDA blocked 9,000 unsafe Chinese products from entering American borders. But the FDA also inspects less than 1% of all goods seeking entry into the US. So how much is getting through? From tainted milk to toxic pet food, the answer is costing American lives. Think twice about made in China.
It isn’t a list it is a political video.
i don’t have to think twice about “made in china”, the answer is always will not buy.
I would/might bet you that you can't go a single day without using or buying something made in China.
This guy is very sharp and funny —he speaks fluent Chinese and I have been his YouTube subscriber for 2 years or so.
Very, very good timing, and one of the very few non-Chinese who is a consummate China hand, but absolutely honest about her shortcomings, also.
They do have a list of the top 6 Chinese contaminated products.
About 1/2 way in he got into the products:
Milk
Medication
Ped food
Milk
Seafood
Toys
I couldn’t stand that person that long.
What concerns me BIG TIME is Rx.
All our raw food has to be labeled with origin locations.
Our lovely FDA has no requirement I know of for manufacturers to list country of origin for Rx or ingredients in Rx. We can be doing ourselves alot of damage. Thank you feds and the FDA — for nothing.
Now, processed food is another matter. All it needs ais a label of manuf location, no info on ingredient origins.
I heard a rumor about a Chinese shipload of cast iron cookware containing high levels of radiation being detected in the Port of San Pedro and sent back to China. This was from a buddy that was in the cookware business. Guess you wouldn’t need a oven to cook your meals or need candles for a romantic dinner.
One word...
Generics.
.
Do not buy Chinese dog treats
Buried inside of a political video.
The headline of the thread was misleading.
I was in the Grocery on Monday. Chinese Crawfish $6/lb. Louisiana crawfish $12/lb.
I bought the Louisiana crawfish.
But it worries me that the house voted to remove labels from meat. Was in Walmart looking at the beef and couldn’t tell where it was from. It was distributed out of SD, so I figured it was probably Canadian beef.
As soon as I find a place that has grown and processed in the USA labels, they’ll become my preferred vendor.
“I would/might bet you that you can’t go a single day without using or buying something made in China.”
if it doesn’t have a statement of origin that is somewhere other than china, i won’t buy it.
and i am only interested i buying stuff that is made in north america, europe or japan.
