I really don’t understand pansexual. I’m not sure I even understand bisexual.
Back in the 1980s all the famous gays would say they were bisexual. In the end they were all just gay. I remember an actor, a very flaming one (he later died of AIDS), joking on a chat show that he loved being bisexual because that meant that whoever he was talking with at a party, he could go home with. He joked that he liked to date people his same size so he could borrow their clothes, either gender. See, I just thought he was attracted to the guys for the sex, but the girls for their clothes.
So I actually do think that bisexuals are mostly gay but deign to date the opposite sex sometimes.
Because I am only attracted to one gender, I find it hard to believe that there are people who don’t even CARE what gender they will spend their next romantic interlude with. This woman, it seems she has dated some transgenders. Maybe she liked that and that is why she calls herself “pan.” But doesn’t she have any actual desires to be with a certain gender? Is all this fluidity just “well, if pressed I WOULD sleep with these other people - I don’t discriminate” ?? Who has a fantasy that goes... “and there I was trying to reach my back to apply the sunscreen, when Any Random Person Walks in and says they will help...” I’m not buyin’ it.
