A website widely read by bikers called “The Aging Rebel” has published an alternative account of what happened during Sunday’s bloody shootout in Waco, Texas. The article titled The Waco Police Massacre brings out a number of details not previously published and also presents the controversial theory that event was essentially a police ambush.

I used to ride with an MC (mostly doctors, lawyers, and retired military — NOT an outlaw MC), so I am not anti-MC. That said, the Bandidos and Cossacks have NASTY reputations.
We don’t know what happened yet, do we? Any videos of the firefight come to light? Surely someone turned on their mobile phone’s recording function. Or have they all been confiscated and erased?
I’m kind of torn where to come down on this.

I am too. The number of dead and wounded seems VERY high for a normal Biker tiff. It would NOT surprise me if one, or more, or the cops panicked and started “spraying and praying” with their automatic weapons. Some cops don’t have the greatest judgement or fire discipline. And it seems some cops automatically start to blast away as soon as another cop opens fire.
If they did the crime scene investigation right they would have included the location of the firing cops in the crime scene to determine who all fired and how many shots were fired by each weapon. I’d be willing to wager this was not done but maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised. I certainly hope that all recovered bullets from the dead and wounded are collected, tagged, kept as evidence and subjected to ballistic tests along with the relevant firearms (both Biker and Cop weapons).

For the nefarious and the obnoxious, staying out of TEXAS is the whole idea. Let the word get around that “Don’t Mess With TEXAS” is not a myth.
Gangs with chains, guns and bats might want to head for Baltimore, where the mayor accommodates and will guarantee their space.
I had not previously heard/read that this was a Confederation of Clubs meeting.
That being the case, my original inkling that all was not as it was being reported by the media and the police has grown to a strong suspicion.
I see. Now an alternative view is now a “truthers” view, as if any official or other unofficial view besides the “truthers” view, is false.
If the 9/11 “truthers” efforts are any judge, the new ones, over the “bikers” case, are likely just as nutty.

Having nothing to do with the story at hand, that is, in itself, quite an image.
FWIW, they are still investigating the crime scene.
Should be simple enough to confirm. Autopsies will reveal who shot whom and with what type of weapons.
Cops often stake out places and I’ll bet some of these bikers knew this, if no innocent bystanders were killed, I can’t really fault the cops.

Because what you said is a known fact in so many cases, it strikes me that it’s a known risk you take when riding with a biker who is so stupid as to pull a gun in the presence of nervous cops at the ready.
The other bikers should have broken this fight up at the first moment, in the bathroom. It is possible that a few of these bikers are too stupid for words.
A so called “family restaurant” in a shopping mall full of Texans who don’t want to be intimidated while eating, by a bathroom brawl and a gang full of bearded boobs in leather and chains is a factor for consideration at their next biker convention.
Very Good Points! Are they trying to paint these guys as having just come from Church? You can bet that most if not all have records that include violence and drugs.
