"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
|
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |
|
"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |
|
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

The GOP-E doesn't want Cruz to resonate, or get his message across.
They really don't like conservatives.

Forget the GOP. Senator Cruz is right. The PEOPLE have to finally rise up together and turn this around WITH THE HELP OF GOD!
Without living our daily lives with God, the way HE intended us to to...we are flat-out doomed.

Good for Ted!
He has a good message.
BTW, it has been a long time since I got my grammar training, but this doesn't sound right: "There were chicken and fish on their plates, ..."
What say you FR grammar experts?

You summed it up nicely. That’s why I adopted my tagline.
Thanks for speaking up and reminding us. We all need to be reminded. The Lord said “Occupy until I come”. That is a battle term, not a passive one.
We have for too long not shouldered our responsibilities as citizens, nor have we stood against evil as boldly as we should. Each one of us has to decide to do that and we now have a Leader, Ted Cruz.

“There were chicken and fish on their plates”
Being in Georgia, I hope that chicken wasn’t fried, otherwise all hopes of him becoming president are now dashed as he is guilty of level 5 racism.

BTW, it has been a long time since I got my grammar training, but this doesn't sound right: "There were chicken and fish on their plates, ..." What say you FR grammar experts? I think that the word "there" and the verb is conditioned by what follows.
"There" was a fire and...
"There" were two banditos coming at me and...
There is probably a rule on this but I'm way past remembering specific grammar rules.

Cruz is already automatically guilty of Level 5 Racism (L5R), based on pigmentation and political persuasion.

Cruz seems to get the very best speaking slot at every event. Anyone else think that is a clue as to who the people want.
Cruz is extremely popular everywhere but D.C.
To: Col Freeper; dsrtsage
Oh no, Mississippi freepers shouldn’t be worried about a grammar thing when we’re talking abut fried catfish and fried chicken. I’ve spent a lot of time in Georgia and I’m sure it was fried, what else can you do with chickens and catfish?

The Republicrat Oligarchy ruling America will NEVER let a true conservative upset the status quo. The illusion of a two-party system must be maintained, and anyone who would really make a difference will never get the Republican or Democrat nomination. The USA has not been a government of, by, and for the people for decades now.

Imagine what President Cruz can do, and get busy writing checks, volunteering, and talking up Ted to your friends! Add abolishing the minimum wage to that superb list. Once the marketplace is free to set costs for workers, the American economy will flourish. Meddlesome government regulations and enforced wages are killing corporate profits. As a shareholder in a number of companies, I see the dividends decreasing due to the central government getting involved in private enterprise. I think that Ted Cruz, a proven pro-business leader will put an end to such nonsense.

The Republican Leadership AND the media did their best to stop Reagan as well, and he went right over their heads and communicated to the voters with his conservative message.
Ted Cruz is doing the same as Reagan did, and the results will be the same.
