In case you missed it yesterday, ABC News chief anchor and former Clinton White House communication advisor George Stephanopoulos admitted to donating $75,000 dollars to the Clinton Foundation after being busted by the Washington Free Beacon. Of course, Stephanopoulos didn't disclose the information before interviewing Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer two weeks ago about allegations Hillary Clinton traded political favors for donations to the Clinton Foundation during her time as Secretary of State. During the interview, Stephanopoulos argued there was no "smoking gun" to Schweizer's claims in his book and said ABC News had concluded there was no wrongdoing. Naturally, ABC News won't be reprimanding the anchor for failing to disclose donations to executives or the ABC News audience.
Now, in light of Stephanopoulos' donation revelations, Schweizer wants ABC News to do another interview.
"What ABC could do is let's do another interview on the Sunday morning show to talk about the contents of the book so we actually get a chance for viewers to hear what's in the book. That's the first thing I would ask," Schweizer said in an interview on Hannity Thursday. "Looking at Stephanopoulos' past, the question to me is really, going into that interview I assumed the relationship with the Clinton's was in the past, that he had made this transition into the media and it was a different chapter in his life. These donations, the fact that he's going to these events, it raises all kinds of questions about that and I think it's legitimate for people to look into it. If this was any other political candidate and a reporter doing this, you can bet there would be serious consequences for it."

For reference, here is Schweizer's first interview with Stephanopoulos before he disclosed massive donations to the Clinton Foundation.
$75,000?
Yesterday it was only $50,000.
Did he make another donation?..................
Peter Schweizer: “ABC Should Redo Our Interview After Stephanopolous Admitted to Clinton Donations”.
ABC might avoid a really hurtful lawsuit. Execs should take Schweizer’s offer.

I agree & BUMP!
Stephanopoulos should be suspended and eventually fired, much like is occurring with Brian Williams. He’s been conflicted and biased forever and any effort by ABC to characterize him has anything other than a spokesperson for the Democrats and Clintons is a lie.
It would be nice to publicize the background of everyone in the news.
I’ve heard that Chris Mathews used to work for Tip O’Neill. So clearly he’s liberal, if he worked for the liberal O’Neill.
We could see this in other areas too. For example, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the ACLU representative on the Supreme Court, as significant amounts of her professional career involved working for the ACLU. Let’s publicize everyone’s background and liberal ideology.
Actually, conservatives politicians can stop appearing on ABC News and conservative voters can stop watching ABC News until Stephy is fired. Free market rules.
The only thing that surprises me about all this mess is this: did they really need his money? He was worth millions to them as a shill and they still made him knuckle under for a paltry $75,000, out of hundreds of millions they raised. That tells you a lot about this family.
Speaking of George Steponallofus — here he is helping Baraq clean up a gaffe:

Joseph Goebbels would be impressed.
I let out a wall-shaking "whoop-de-doo" yesterday while watching TV and hearing that Rupert Murdoch contributes to the HILL, BILL & CHEL FOUNDATION/LAUNDROMAT along with all the other amoral influence-buyers like George Steponallofus.
Oh, you sly Fox, Mr. Murdoch!
You play both sides, don't you, just like your star perfoming seal, Bill O'Bloviator.
I'm still guffawing about this juicy revelation (spilled by lefty lackey Juan Williams, no less).

How many time have you or anyone you've ever been around misstate their own religion?
...or any video, of any person, world-wide that had to be corrected about their own faith.
It never happens, it's in our sub-conscience.
But there was pretty-boi Stephie to save the day and set the record 'straight'.
Peter
Son I watched the interview
Sure Steffe is a shill but you let him go
You could have easily called him out when he said you were partisan
I was yelling at the TV for you to effing say something like that
Push back
Now you say something
Next time let Newt or Levin go with you
I’m just wardaddy
I could make George Stephanapolus cry like the girl he is.,,run down the halls of ABC hiding from his own camera
Or just bitch slap him
But he’s only three foot tall.,,,not much glory there
Just ask my kids....I can growl like a Rottie
I missed the interview, but Peter should not have been so naive to let that happen.
So where are the journalism ethicists? While posing as an objective journalist, GS has a clear conflict of interest which should have probably disqualified him from doing the interview or at a minimum, forced disclosure to the audience of the conflict.
Steponallofus is the malignant dwarf. The goebels of the klinton Reich. A two legged colostomy bag for bj and the bitch.
It would be easy to write a book on incestuous relationships and conflicts of interest involving the media and politicians.
Longtime ABC and CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour is the wife of James Rubin. Rubin served in the State Department during Bill Clinton’s presidency and was a senior advisor to Senator John Kerry during his ill-fated presidential run. He was also a member of Hillary Clinton’s campaign team in 2008.
