Most of us make an effort to be sensitive to other people's feelings regardless of race. But a study produced by the University of Illinois claims we shouldn't even bother. The fact that you are white causes people of color discomfort.

If we’re going to use the term “people of color” why not simply colored?
Black is not really a color, same as white. Black is the absorption of all color and white is the reflection of all color. That leaves us with red and yellow. Or those blue people from Pluto.
Apparently, “people of color” is okay but “colored” is racist. Or something. Can all this crap get any “stupider”? Why yes, it most certainly can. What sort of assclown thinks up this bs anyway. Put your “skills” to good use and quit your belly achin’. Sheesh.
The day just isn’t going to be a good one if I don’t commit at least half-a-dozen microaggressions before leaving the house.

If Blacks would dedicate even 20% of the energy the use trying to think up things to be offended over, to improve their lives by their own efforts, they would conquer the world.

You know, grow up. Heck, life is loaded with "micro aggressions" - what do you call a lane change without a turn signal? Or somebody who blocks the only exit from a store while she texts friends?

Face it, our very existence is an aggression. The only way we can stop committing “aggression” is for White people to simply become extinct.
But, if that ever happened, it would be one of those teachable “Be careful what you wish for” events.
It’s easy to sit on the sidelines and laugh about the unbelievable nonsense that goes on in American universities, e.g., “microagressions”, checking your “privilege”, “non-colonial safe spaces”, “trigger warnings”, “cis-male”, etc. I mean, this stuff seems no ludicrous that it is easy to dismiss as harmless: pointy-headed academics in various wombyn and people-of-color studies departments (who couldn’t get jobs in the real world) writing papers for each other - who cares, right?
I submit that that is the wrong attitude, if for no other reason than these are the people who are training the people who are teaching children in the public schools. This silliness doesn’t stay confined to campuses. It makes it into the elementary schools, and eventually, in the human resources departments of actual corporations in the real world.
Someone needs to start a discussion about how many “studies” departments we need, particularly at tax-payer supported public universities.
Microagression sounds like a Scientology concept.
LIB asshats always have been whiney idiots. If nothing else, they are good for a laugh. Ridicule them as often as you can.
So a study finds that blacks are “uncomfortable” around whites for no reason other than our skin color. Someone remind me again, what is the definition of racism?
