If we’re going to use the term “people of color” why not simply colored?
The day just isn’t going to be a good one if I don’t commit at least half-a-dozen microaggressions before leaving the house.
Attention not-white people: siddown, shaddup, and get over yourselves.
This isn’t even Marxism. The Left has become a parody of itself. It’s become the Nazism of the “historically oppressed.”
If Blacks would dedicate even 20% of the energy the use trying to think up things to be offended over, to improve their lives by their own efforts, they would conquer the world.
HA!
“When I think about you I microaggress myself”
;’)
Okay, how about if we follow the lead of Blacks and commit macroaggressions?
You know, grow up. Heck, life is loaded with "micro aggressions" - what do you call a lane change without a turn signal? Or somebody who blocks the only exit from a store while she texts friends?
Sheesh.
...or pico-pi$$offs... Going down the scientific notation tree.
What about those pico-insights?...
Face it, our very existence is an aggression. The only way we can stop committing “aggression” is for White people to simply become extinct.
But, if that ever happened, it would be one of those teachable “Be careful what you wish for” events.
Microagression sounds like a Scientology concept.
So a study finds that blacks are “uncomfortable” around whites for no reason other than our skin color. Someone remind me again, what is the definition of racism?
I’d love to get macro-aggressive with the mush-head who thought up this asinine term.
They are saying "hey Cracka, you hate me. Therefore I hate you. But my hatred is OK cause I'm Black."
And you respond with "I don't hate you. But knowing you hate me, I can feel myself getting angry at you. In fact, I might end up hating you if you keep this up."
Sorry, I refuse to believe in micro-aggressions.
If I’m going to aggress someone, I’m going full-bore macro.
Somehow I don't think people worry much about "micro-aggressions" in the real college classes, they don't have the time.
I’m glad there’s a class of people that can align their self-worth, perception of abilities, and social status around something that neither matters or can be controlled.
It leaves those of us who wake up hungry each morning a better chance of succeeding. Not because of some sort of privilege, but rather the desire to learn, work hard, adapt, and be accountable.
I complain of the -igger portion; everyone knows what you meant! < /sarc >
