As a state investigator escorted several small children out of a child care center in Minneapolis Wednesday, federal investigators were inside searching files and computers.
An FBI spokesman would not comment on the extent of the investigation but confirmed a search warrant was executed at the Salama Child Care Center, 1411 Nicollet Ave. S. Investigators with the Minnesota Department of Human Services were also seen entering and exiting the building but directed all questions to the FBI.
Parents trying to drop off their children for daycare were turned away at the door. Investigators were later seen carrying files and computers out of the center.
An employee slammed the door and refused to comment Wednesday afternoon. The director, Fozia Ali, was also unavailable for comment.
DHS has cited the center for violations in the past, including: not having enough staff, allowing unqualified workers to supervise the children and allowing some children to be unsupervised at times.
The Salama Child Care Center in St. Cloud had its license revoked in February 2013 after a child wandered out of the building. Staff didn't realize the child was missing for an hour and a half
Feds don't usually get involved in daycare code violations.

Its a front for something entirely different than giving daycare for children. With all the Somalis in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the threats to the Mall of America by Somalis (the Somalia’s work throughout the Mall of America). there are plans being made.
Fozia Ali? Could the feds have been looking for terrorist type activity on the computers? They can hide in a mosque. They can’t hide in a child care center.
I’ve never understood why the corrupt FED GOV would willingly import Somali’s (who are basically useless when it comes to civilized society) by the hundreds of thousands unless this is willingly blatant to implode the system and crash it down (Cloward-Piven).
