Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder will not run for president in 2016, according to two sources familiar with his planning.
Snyder, a Republican who was first elected in 2010, has been traveling across the country in recent weeks but has decided against a White House bid. One source close Snyder said he’d expressed concern about the time commitment needed for a national campaign.
“He is concerned about solving the problems in Michigan and the time commitment needed for out-of-state travel,” one source said.
A Snyder spokesman declined to comment.
The decision comes one day after a Snyder-backed ballot initiative, which would have raised sales taxes to pay for roads funding, went down to defeat by an overwhelming margin...

Michiganders have such a great record running for President (Lewis Cass, George Romney, Mitt Romney).
Proposition 1 Died by a margin of 80%. Now the 56 House Representatives, 20 Senators and 1 Governor have to decide how to get the money to fix the hideous roads throughout all of Michigan. What killed was all the add ons that were added but not part of the ballot. the unionistas encouraged a Yes vote. I voted No, there was no Hell no space though. Synder is toast in Michigan
He may be onto something here. It might just be faster for all the current and former Republican officeholders who aren’t running to announce.

True conservative candidates must be torpedoed by the ruling class...not to mention the yutes have been indoctrinated to believe they(true conservatives)and their traditional/Constitutional ideals are...evil.

I am now clear on who Rick Snyder is.
Instead of closing the door on lousy road construction contracts siphoning tax payer dollars, he sought more tax payer payoff money to keep the corruption going.

The RINO’s who are jumping in now think they will water down any chances a real Tea Party candidate may have in the selection process!
Graham, Huckabee, Bush, Christie, and Snyder these are all big government RINO’s who think we are stupid enough to vote for them!
Snyder thinks we have forgotten how he was elected in the first place, the liberal socialist and the conservatives split the vote and Snyder walked right threw the open door! that certainly did not give him a mandate in which to run for president of the United States!
