What part of the term “illegal” don’t liberals (including Jeb Bush) understand? Legal immigrants I have no problem with. Citizens won’t work in the fields because farmers won’t pay a decent wage. Farmers won’t pay decent wages because then they cannot compete with crops imported from Mexico. Mexican farm fields are just loaded with men, women and children paid a pittance compared to American farmers. Why not address the real problem of Mexican farmers not paying living wages and allowing child labor? We are paying citizens comfortable wages to be unemployed because we don’t want to solve the real problem. And now Obama wants to give favored trade status to those countries without worker protection laws or competitive pay scales so our farmers will once again get screwed by unfair competition.

So the narrative is: these are non-whites oppressed by Evil Whitey into "second class citizenship" and they must be granted "full, equal participation as Citizens of the United States".
In other words they want to portray immigration laws as racist, discriminatory and exclusionary, the big No-No's of the Counter Culture generation (people as old as um, me).
They are not our citizens and should not ever be, unless we want to be under the thumb of Mexico!
They want the border to be declared Racist, and therefore entry into the United States and instantaneous citizenship will be a Civil Right for non-Whites.

I’m thinking we’re in for a non-choice — It looks like the elite are going to push a amnesty proponent on both parties, just like they did with questionable NBC qualification candidates in 2008 to set up precedence weakening the NBC requirement clause.
I hope that won’t be the case, but it’s looking like it might well be.
What I don’t understand is why the illegals even want to be citizens.
I am a full blooded native American (2nd generation from four Jewish grandparents who migrated from Russia and eastern Europe).
These days, I’m seriously wondering whether it’s possible to give up my citizenship and live as an illegal. I could still get a driver’s license, my kid could still get in-state tuition, I wouldn’t have to pay taxes, and I could qualify for all kinds of government bennies.
I have always felt so proud and blessed to be a natural born citizen of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. But now? I’m a citizen of the land of the fleeced and the home of the slaves.
I don’t even celebrate the 4th of July anymore, except as a private day of mourning.
Hillary wants to “Govern” the Citizens and Represent the Non-citizens....
People in office are supposed to Represent the Citizens and “Govern” the Non-Citizens.
