The terrorist group says they will murder Pamela Geller and kill anyone who shields her. The terrorists also say they have 71 fighters in 15 different states and they 23 have signed up already for missions like the failed Sunday attack in Garland, Texas.

I recently heard a story about an event in Hawai’i, on the island of Kona, that occurred on December 5, 1941. We always hear about Pearl Harbor, where so many Americans died, but not about Kona Island, where civilian militia armed with hunting rifles, shotguns and handguns, annihilated an invading Japanese force.
I want more information on this but have not found a source.

Exactly. People should not assume Michigan is an easy mark. We’ve always had open carry. When I was a teenager in the 80s I didn’t think anything of it when I carried a shotgun over my shoulder in the grocery store on my way to the woods. We’ll probably have constitutional carry within 18 months.
BTW we killed the tax increase proposal by what looks like an 80/20 margin tonight.
