As I do every morning, I was flipping through the news shows when I came across a CNN panel advertised as objective journalism. Nevertheless, The Washington Posts Nia-Malika Henderson and Errol Lewis never once brought up the fact that Baltimore has exclusively been run by Democrats for a full half-century. Instead, both just called for more government to end decades of poverty and discrimination.

Best line I’ve read.
” The Washington Posts Nia-Malika Henderson and Errol Lewis never once brought up the fact that Baltimore has exclusively been run by Democrats for a full half-century”
Since 1967. Quite a testament to liberal leadership skills : )
If you have to move, PLEEEAAASE stay out of Texas.
What the heck does Economic jobs have to do with the Amish dude who ran from police?
It used to be asleep at the wheel.. Now its comatose at the keyboard.
A LIebral Progression? Indeed!
Fox News today was presenting how folks were turning out to listen to an orchestra perform in the open air somewhere in Baltimore , as an indication of how ‘peace was breaking out all over , and how wonderful that was ‘ A glance at the assembled audience showed me that it was ALL white people . Not a black person visible among them . Not one that I could see . What does that tell you ?
To honor their folk heroes they even renamed a street to MLK, Jr. Boulevard. Who'da ever thunk there would be an MLK, Jr. Blvd at the edge of the desert!
Fast forward a few years and crime is rampant in Moreno Valley.
But life was still bad in South Central and it was being taken over by the "wrong kind" of people, i.e. Mexican immigrants. So the "good people" took the Blue Line to Palmdale for greener pastures ... well as green as you can get in the middle of the desert.
Fast forward and Palmdale ... now jokingly referred to as Palmton ... is crime central.
Just saying that some people escaping the asylum maybe should be locked into the asylum rather than let free to roam the earth spreading their craziness.
That’s what I suggested, was the start blaring out classical music, the rioters would have scampered like that.
Do you honestly mean to tell me that after decades of special consideration, special assistance, benefits, favored status in lending, education, the law, etc... that there is NOWHERE a figure of the BILLIONS spent on all this for these IMPOVERISHED and IMPUNED people?
Really?
Does no one want to make that accounting and cast that figure in the face of people who STILL claim they are cheated, disserved, etc.?
Over 50+ years-B I L L I O N S were spent in assistance, TONS of special consideration was shown and you're STILL broke and ‘exploited’? REALLY???
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
It is also a good infomercial for why Democratic policies are horrible.
It'll get this chart moving again.
Maybe the “contrast” setting on your tv is messed up...
In 1950 2/3 of Baltimore was white. In 1968 it was 50% black. Today it is over 63%. If the blacks don’t like living in ghettos and being taken advantage of by Rats, STOP VOTING FOR THEM.
“If you have to move, PLEEEAAASE stay out of Texas”.
Amen to that!
Hey, ya gotta remember to ping him if you're gonna talk about him. :-)
Closest estimates put the figure at 22 trillion spent.
Just wanted to make your day......
It would be 22 trillion well spent and certainly enough to get a minority element OUT of the cycle of poverty.
However, the money was squandered because to hear THEM, they are STILL uneducated, oppressed, poor...etc. Really?
You went to the same school that I did, you had the same books, the same classroom, the same teacher, the same instruction.... etc. WTF happened?
If you slept in class, skipped class, mocked education, dropped out, did drugs, got pregnant, etc. Well, where was that supposed to get you?
I think the recipients of the dole NEVER wanted to take responsibility for themselves and NOW they want MORE free stuff because they see they are going nowhere. I wonder why!
No reason for decent people to live in urban cesspools.
“I view great cities as pestilential to the morals, the health and the liberties of man. True, they nourish some of the elegant arts; but the useful ones can thrive elsewhere; and less perfection in the others, with more health, virtue and freedom, would be my choice.”
