When Baltimore mom Toya Graham turned on the evening news and saw her son on TV throwing rocks at cops in the streets during Monday’s riots, her instincts took over — her maternal instincts.
“I was shocked. I was angry, because you never want to see your child out there doing that,” Graham told CBS News of the moment she spotted her son, Michael, 16. “At that point, I just lost it.”
So Graham raced to the scene, smacked some sense into Michael and half-dragged, half-shamed him back home. Her actions, caught on video that has since gone viral, earned her praise on social media Tuesday as “Mom of the Year.” “He knew he was in trouble,” Graham told CBS. “He said, ‘When I seen you,’ he said, ‘Ma, my instinct was to run.’
“I’m a no-tolerant mother. Everybody that knows me, know I don’t play that,” she said.

Most important is the fact that she seems to understand that Freddy was the primary source of Freddy’s problems.

Everyone is talking about what a great mother she is. Imagine if there was a FATHER around to straighten this kid out long before he became a rioting punk. Mom might have the stones and the attitude, but if her son were bigger (like, Michael Brown sized, for example) she’d have a hard time doing anything to stop him. Unfortunately, this kid’s father is likely nowhere to be found, and/or among those rioting in the streets himself, just like the majority of the other rioting “youths” in Baltimore and elsewhere.

I appreciate what she did. I am sorry that she has 6 kids with no father in the family. By God’s grace, this young man will turn out better than he might have, due to the exposure. Prayers for the whole family......I suspect she is doing the best she can at this moment in time.

That would be Democrats telling her that like they have been doing there for the last 40 years.
Democrats gave them a poverty lifestyle depending on the system but they didn’t give them what they really needed - hope - a future. Democrats only want the vote and to hell with a future. These people needed good schools for their kids to go to - good programs to help them in the community and good churches and church families to stand with them in their times of need. All of which Democrats know nothing about. And, I never cease to blame the mainstream media for covering and abetting the Democrats in their human destruction.
Good communities, churches and families reduce dependency on government,

you are right. but these sperm donors have a different agenda - to impregnate as many women as they can without having to pay child support. Years go there was a guy in Chicago whom was the father of at least 30 different children from a leas 6 different women. Takes the meaning of sperm donor to a whole new level.
