Specific proposals to end the appalling violence in Syria, Yemen, and territories controlled by the Islamic State group are scarce in the nascent presidential campaign. That is about to change.
Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina -- who tells Yahoo Finance he’s “92-and-a-half percent sure” he’s running for president -- wants to send U.S. troops back to the world’s most volatile region to stamp out vicious terrorism and remove Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. “Assad has to go,” he says in the video above. “We’re going to have to send some of our soldiers back into the Middle East.”

So the brilliant military strategist wants to send US troops to fight and die to defeat the primary Syrian opponents of the Islamic State? What a complete and total idiot-—it’s moronic REMF military attorneys (who would not personally get close to real combat if their mothers’ lives depended on it) such as Little Lindsey Graham who write the Rules of Engagement that have resulted in the deaths and disabling of hundreds of American troops.
I wish Lindsey would focus on things with which he is more familiar such as STD hygiene in gay bath houses.

If the McCain Mini-Me was running things how many wars would the US involve itself in; the Norks, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria? Has the McCain Mini-Me talked about sending troops to Nigeria, Somalia or Yemen? We don’t need to get in the middle of a sectarian civil war.

So, he wants to topple a tyrant that has been more or less secular, and has protected religious minorities (including Christians), and pave the way for ISIS or Iran to extend their power? Didn’t we already see this in Libya?
BTW, one wonders where Putin will fall on this. Damascus and Moscow have close ties going back 40 years or more.
He has to say this. If he doesn’t keep saying this over and over and also finding ways to get weapons to ISIS then the Moderate Rebels (see also ISIS) will reveal the details of the little Chemical Weapons/Red Line Operation from a few years ago.
They have already threatened it numerous times on Arab Television. You can find the links on the internet. Basically, since McCain and Lynthie were unable to drag Americans into war for ISIS, they have they have them by the short ones.

Ignoring the overall stupidity of such action. Would not such a plan require a formal declaration of war on Syria by the Congress? Or does Sen. Graham plan on declaring himself king.
There are many so called REMF MOS’ in the military and I recall when only about 1 in 10 did the fighting, but; we need everyone to support those who do. Whether one is a rifleman or cook we need them all.
