Baltimore scrambles to save tourism, conventions (Uh, cancel that directive to let them destroy)

With the violence sweeping Baltimore threatening to scare away tourists and the city's huge convention industry, officials are working overtime to build in new security around the downtown convention center and promising to keep people safe.

Ditto! So far, 15 officers have been injured, and two are still being treated. The National Guard has been activated. Criminal gangs have joined forces and have threatened to assassinate white cops. The police are going to have difficulty defending themselves and they are ARMED! More than ever, citizens need to arm up!

I remember that! Baltimore fans were pretty upset. Citizens might be upset over the loss of business, but they have no one to blame but their mayor.

If she believes that the thugs have the right to destroy private and public property, she should have given out her address and that of other members of her extended family and circle of friends and invited them to destroy those places first. Charity begins at home.
