I don’t understand Ann’s infatuation with Romney. He was clearly lying about his stance on illegal aliens during the campaign as he was for McCain/Kennedy in 2006 and endorsed Rubio’s Gang of Eight bill after he lost in 2012. He was caught TWICE employing illegal aliens to landscape his mansion in MA. He would not have stopped the cheap labor importation/invasion if he had been elected.
Wonder what Laura Ingraham will have to say about this. Her “passion” is immigration and she doesn’t miss a beat in featuring who supports and who opposes her views on the subject.
Agreeing with Romney isn't exactly a ringing endorsement in my book.
“Whatever you think of either Coulter or Walker, I think she’s right on this one.”
I agree whole-heartedly. I applaud both of them.
I do too. There is a huge untapped reservoir of votes for a socially and fiscally conservative candidate who will deal with trade and immigration issues in a manner which places the interests of those already in the country legally ahead of prospective votes. The longer the legitimate concerns of this bloc of votes isn’t addressed, the worse the reaction will be when critical mass is achieved.
Actually, that is exactly what they are saying, but neither the Democrats or GOPe will be honest about it.
As long as the poor stay poor, they will reliably vote Democrat because it means more free $h*t which they don't have to pay for.
As long as the working class is looking over their shoulder at immigrants who will work for even less, they won't get too uppity toward their GOPe and rich Democrat plantation owners.
Yes, she is.
“cheap labor hacks”
I like it!
Walker is another Romney..and youre bitter, Ann..
yes OK..
thanks for the warning...
The left want’s unlimited illegals for cheap labor, and an unlimited voter base.
The right want’s unlimited illegals for cheap labor, and a totally compliant permanent underclass.
To both the left and the right, illegals represent their answer to the abolition of slavery in the US, and as an antidote against the threat of a rising middle class.
Walker’s comments on putting American workers first is guaranteed to rattle some cages in DC, and we should see the long knives coming out of the corners of the political class in the near future.
If Ann is supporting Walker, he must be a GOPe candidate.
You tried to tell us Chris Christie was "da man" and then attempted to convince us it was Romney. That's not a very good record. Hey, and didn't you have some kind of big rally celebrating the LGBT a few years back? You're no Conservative.
Illegal immigrants are a source of captive cheap votes for the Democrats.
The democrats get them papers and hooked on Welfare (EBT/foodstamps, AFDC [its back, Obama abolished the TANF limits], Section 8, medicaid, Obamaphones, ect) and then the illegals vote for their candidates.
“Cheap Labor Hacks” = Jeb Bush, Linsey Graham, Marco Rubio...
Don’t trust any politicians on immigration, but as of now - Walker leads on the issue. Kudos to him.
I’m deeply saddened to see that The Rules regarding AC and MD/CZJ no longer apply... Must go commiserate with Tommy Daschle...
I don’t understand the comment about Walker “smoking out the cheap labor hacks”. I heard he was behind closed doors with the Chamber of Commerce cheap labor hacks talking about a path to citizenship a couple of weeks ago. I know he changed his position when he caught flak for that, but that’s hardly a shining example of pricipled conviction. I don’t trust politicians that change their position for political expediency.
Scott has a problem.
He states his immigration policy has changed.
What do you do if you want to protect the jobs of U. S. Citizens? Dont you send back the people who are here illegally holding down jobs?
In this video clip his old (2013) policy is aired in a second video clip. He backs illegals staying in the U. S. if they pay a fine.
It is also mentioned that he favored the McCain/Kennedy immigration bill. (You know, amnesty but not an amnesty) He acknowledges that.
Then in this (03/01/2015) clip, Walker is asked if illegals can stay, if they pay a fine. He responds with, I believes a way can be found to do that.
This is the same policy as his old policy.
Then he states that his policy has changed. No Scott, it hasnt changed. You just got through endorsing the same policy, illegals being allowed to stay in our country if they pay a fine. So you even fibbed about it.
In 2006/07, 2013, and now in 2015, his immigration policy regarding illegal immigrants is the same as that under McCain/Kennedy. Let them pay a fine and stay.
Immigration is discussed starting at 9:20 and the ...a way can be found... is located at 10:20
