I’d like to see him hanged.

Who cares what they want?

Just because they’re victims doesn’t make them experts.

Just release him into the general prison population and then schedule a 24 hour maintenance on all the prison cameras.

That should do it.

His most important crimes were committed against the United States. The family's opinion means nothing. But this is Massachusetts. There's no way that all 12 jurors will vote for the DP regardless of what the families say.

Absolutely no way.

With all due respect and sympathy for their losses, this is much bigger than what one family prefers. We are talking about the security of the United States now and going forward. Best that this Terrorist is given the death sentence even if that means he spends the next 30 years sitting on his backside doing nothing. If he is not given the death sentence, it remains likely that Obama may want to trade him to another country for some equally repulsive but American scum. Obama cannot be trusted on such matters. We all know that now.

This is understandable from an individual perspective, but the bomber involved himself with all of us by his actions, so justice is to be dispensed swiftly and dispassionately for the sake and safety of the greater population. We could perhaps, however, baptize this young man and feed him some bacon before he departs this life.

Sad, but true that a death sentence for this POS will take years of frivolous appeals before justice can be done. I would be all for a single appeal and then summarily executing him. There can be no doubt about his guilt so all the appeals will be just nitpicking and wasting the taxpayers money. He should be publicly hanged on Boston Common with his remains fed to pigs.

However, at 21 sending him to rot in the supermax prison in Colorado where he will be in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day does have its appeal. He will slowly go crazy and die totally forgotten. Just be sure his toilet faces Mecca, the food contains lots of pork and his only toilet paper is the Koran.

Timothy McVeigh was sentenced to die on June 13, 1997 and died by lethal injection just shy of four years later on June 11, 2001.

There's no reason Dzhokhar Tsarnaev can't be fast-tracked to the death chamber as well. The parents should be arguing that he be killed, and as quickly as possible.

Im not going to judge the family because they have been through unimaginable horror, but this monster deserves to die..he stood next to a child knowing he would die and did it anyway..you can’t fix a monster, just put him in the town square and let the folks take care of him, nice and slow

Sympathies to his family, but they are part of the ‘compassionate, oh-so-tolerant’ Libs who don’t want to punish out of their ‘understanding of all cultures’ outlook on life. With no accountability for their actions, more will murder and injure innocents in the name of their Messiah. This man must be held accountable for his murders.......period.

The truth is that this is not an ordinary murder. Most often, the victim knows and is known by his murderer. The reasons are personal, but even then the crime still involves society at large. And even in the case of an typical murder, justice must be served not only for the family and victim, but for all of civilization as well.

With all respect to the family, their wishes are almost meaningless in this case. Their child was no one to this murderer. Their child was not killed because he represented anything special or unique to the Tsarnaevs. Their child was simply ... an American. My children, or your children, or anyone's children would have suited his purpose. So even though this family bears a greater burden than the rest of us for the loss, it is only circumstantially so, and the crime is -- even more than an ordinary murder -- a crime against the United States of America and her People.

Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev must die. We executed Timothy McVeigh -- who murdered nineteen children of various others' families -- withing four years of his death sentence. Tsarnaev deserves the same fate, with the same expediency. But more importantly, the People of the United States deserve swift justice as well.

To: nickcarraway; All

like the kids you’re trying to “protect” won’t notice the pictures you have WITH their older brother, and the years of pictures WITHOUT him? huh?

This borders on INSANE.

The ba$tard deserves to have done to him, that which happened to the people he killed and maimed. BLOW HIM UP! With a SLOW fuse. Let him understand panic, and terror, and the painful death the people got.

Yeah. Soak the taxpayers for 50 years taking care of the little slime. No thanks. Execute. Bury. Done.

Next thing you know we’ll hear he wants to be a girl now and we all should pay for that too.

Execute. Bury. Done.

Actually, such “life sentences without possibility of parole” can end in parole when age and physical decline take hold and a timely release can shift the costs of custody and medical care off the books of the prison system. On the other hand, a death sentence may take years to carry out, but it imposes on a murderer a constant recalling of the crime as he tries to avoid execution.
