Note: this does not prohibit homosexuals from adopting. It allows RELIGIOUS adoption agencies to refuse to find children for homosexuals.

Homosexuals who still desire children can go to an irreligious agencies or the state.

The Miami media and homosexual lobby is foaming at the mouth in anger.

This WILL NOT be acceptable to gay activists. Nothing less than full acceptance of gay marriage as normative and equal to traditional marriage will be accepted.

How many are willing to bet that this law will be cited as evidence that Florida is writing Jim Crow type legislation against gays?

If people really cared about the children, they would never place them with sexual perverts.

Correct. Until they can consummate their marriage in front of the congregation of any church, they will not be satisfied.

it used to be illegal full stop here in FL until a homosexual woman sued in a court down in the south east and guess what. Yes the judge was a homosexual and said it was unconstitutional.

In Boston a homosexual went to Catholic charities and said they wanted a child. Catholic charities said no and they were sued. Instead of giving this homosexual a child Catholic charities moved out of MA.

This is what goes on. That homosexual in Boston could have gone elsewhere but instead they targeted Christians again. From Florists, to bakers, to photographers etc, homosexuals are targeting and waging war against Christians and notice how they leave out Jews and Muslims.

Since procreation is out of the question for the man on man or woman woman activities of these people they have to recruit. So I guess this is the next charade to run up the flagpole. I don’t know which is more disgusting the actual gays or the righteous lame brains trying to prove to themselves THEY are not anti anything. Whether the facts are true or not. Principals of the Nazi party must be chuckling in their graves watching their game being played over again.

Bingo, on this thread. Adoption is priority NUMBER ONE. They cannot procreate as LGBT. So normal, God designed child bearing is out of the question. LGBT must conquer the adoption wall.

It's such an awful situation. There aren't enough homes for children of US citizens, and minorities don't do their share to adopt children to be raised into their heritage. Meanwhile, US citizens adopt from exotic, fashionable places.

I wish all adoptions could be into homes with two traditional parents. But I support life. So even though I don't like gay marriage, I have to say that a loving home is better than no home or abortion.

On a related note …

As mentioned in related threads, the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect gay agenda issues. And what pro-gay activist judges evidently don’t want low-information citizens to know is that the states are free to make laws which discriminate against such issues imo, including gay adoption and gay marriage, as long as such laws don’t violate Section 1 of the 14th Amendment by unreasonably abridging constitutionally enumerated protections.

14th Amendment, Section 1:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Note that the “privileges or immunities” term which John Bingham, the main author of Section 1, used in that section is just another way to refer to constitutionally enumerated rights, most of these well-known rights listed in the Bill of Rights.

On the other hand, Christians need to bear in mind that people wrestling with the slavery of same-sex sexual desires may nonetheless be seeking the truth in Jesus. And Christians refusing to do business with such people may be a stumbling block for finding Jesus.

In fact, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 indicates that certain members of that church had been wrestling with same-sex relationships but had evidently repented and accepted God’s grace to turn their lives around.

After the lynch mob in IN, the FL House Speaker will put the bill on hold to study it would impact the economy. In other words, they see if they can have permission from the Miami Marlins/Dolphins, Tampa Bay Bucs/Devi Rays, Orlando Magic, Disney, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
