In a greeting to the Iranian people on the occasion of the traditional New Year (Nowruz) holiday last week, Secretary of State John Kerry exposed a secret that journalists and academics have been agonizing over for the past six weeks: the fact that his daughter has married an Iranian-American who has extensive family ties to Iran.
“I am proud of the Iranian-Americans in my own family, and grateful for how they have enriched my life,” Kerry said in the official statement. Kerry also said he was “strongly committed to resolving” the differences between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, “to the mutual benefit of both of our people.”
Politicians like to keep their families off-limits to the press, a decorum enforced vigorously when it comes to politicians who are in favor with the national media but ruthlessly discarded for others. But in Kerry’s case, there could be larger ramifications.
Since its inception, the FBI has vetted U.S. government officials involved in national security issues, and it generally won’t grant clearances to individuals who are married to nationals of an enemy nation or have family members living in that country, for fear of divided loyalties or, more simply, blackmail.

While that might send shivers down the leg of a Chris Matthews, it won’t resolve the very real security risk. The mullahs in Tehran and their goon squads won’t hesitate to exploit this messy situation for their own benefit.
One can only sympathize in advance with Behrouz Nahed’s family in Iran, and wonder at the audacity, naiveté and hubris of an American politician who apparently thinks his position (and positions) put him above it all."

Article III, Section 3, Paragraph 1, of the Constitution of the United States:
"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them,
or, in adhering to their Enemies, giving them aid and comfort."
The "aid and comfort" prong of treason has been interpreted
by SCOTUS as requiring proof of four elements:
1. an intent to betray the United States (which can be inferred from);
2. an overt act;
3. witnessed by two people; and
4. that provides aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States.
I wonder if it is the daughter who went braless in the sheer shirt and showed her nosecones...
This stuff is becoming overwhelming, but is anyone paying attention?
There must be some reason why the Iranians in power have no respect for Kerry.If only there was a clue of some sort...
He looks like a Frankenstein Smurf coming out of a birth canal.
Compromise has two different meanings.
One is to come to some agreement through give-and-take of negotiations with some framework of discussion.
Another is to be subject to blackmail because of some secret that was either revealed, or threatened to be revealed.
The fifth column is steadily undermining this country but you’re right, few seem to care about this insidious threat. The country is distracted and apathetic. Expecting a great wakeup anytime soon is probably an exercise in futility.
The daughter married in 2009. I am surprised no one seems to have noticed till now.

I didn’t even know this until my daughter mentioned it this morning. I keep up with what is going on and somehow missed this. No wonder Kerry said “Allah willing”. It seems the plan is to force islam on America while eliminating any vestige of Christianity.
Conflict of interest?
John Kerry is an unlikely target for blackmail.
He has already demonstrated that he will willingly sell out his country.
So nobody would need to threaten him in order to encourage his treachery.
Kerry should be removed from the negotiations

You would THINK that women would realize by now, that sheer material which is normally opaque becomes transparent under bright lights(or in a bright camera flash).
