Airplanes don't just fall out of the sky. The Germanwings plane that crashed Tuesday in France was at the safest part of flight. Yet, something went horribly wrong, leading to the death of 150 passengers and crew.
The first clue about what could have happened will be the wreckage itself. If the debris field is pretty compact, the plane most likely hit the mountains intact. If it is scattered, the plane probably broke up midair.

Could be something as simple as losing one of the windows in the cockpit and the cold temperatures mixed with the high altitude could have rendered the crew unconscious before they could engage the auto pilot or radio a distress signal. That’s just an uneducated guess so it could very well be the killer bees. Or French killer yellowjackets.
What enemies of Obama were on the plane?
Either that or it's a very small person. ;-)
My dad casually knew some passengers on that flight
I tried to make a fertilizer bomb once but it wouldn’t explode. I think the manure was too wet.
Were you using pig poop? That could be your problem right there. Also cow stuff is too runny.
IIRC fumes built up in empty containers. Or is that a different event ?The airline was not one of the big ones.
That's either a Viola...or a gravitationally challenged stewardess.
I want to hear the names of the ‘German’ pilots
The news reporters this morning made the point this was a remote location with few roads and hard to get to the survivors if there were any.
But my sense of it is - anyone in a plane crash is either killed or walks away....with few injured in between.
But it might be that the ones killed get more news coverage.
Does anyone know for certain?
Snakes on a plane.
Were here ‘bankers’ aboard? were there Putin aides aboard? Were there German or French Presidential aides aboard or their family members, as a warning? A deep look at the passenger manifest might be useful.
I think its a good bet that if the pilots were fighting anyone off, some passengers were helping them out.
why wouldn’t they? You think the Germans and French really care about protecting terrorists?
...or into them?
So many questions....
The odd part is no distress call.
I’m no expert but I would have to believe that air traffic control noticed the plane descending. It went from 36000 feet to just under 6000 feet over a period of 10 minutes! Yet there was no communication between the cockpit and air traffic control?
Either the pilots were unconscious or else they intentionally refused to communicate with air traffic control.
It will hopefully leak, the real cause of the crash.
