U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen shamed herself with a vote that no one in New Hampshire should ever forget. That day, to her eternal discredit, she voted against a bill to help sex trafficking victims - on the order of her biggest campaign donor.
The bill was the Justice for Victims of Sex Trafficking Act. Among its bipartisan list of cosponsors are Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. The bill would create a sex trafficking victim assistance fund, financed by revenue from criminal fines.
Just before the bill was to come up for a vote, the abortion lobby noticed that it contained a long-standing provision, "routinely included in spending bills," as Politico reported, called the Hyde amendment, which prohibits taxpayer funding of elective abortions. The call went out: block the bill.
The pro-abortion organization Emily's List attacked the bipartisan bill as Republican legislation too "extreme" to pass. Emily's List is Shaheen's top campaign donor. Shaheen dutifully voted to filibuster the bill, preventing it from being brought up for a vote.
In last year's Senate race, Emily's List was Shaheen's largest supporter, directing $250,231 to her campaign, most from members, $10,000 from the group's political action committee, according to Opensecrets.org. Since 2001, Emily's List has directed $1,151,534 to Shaheen.

Sex trafficking is a crime that almost exclusively victimizes women and girls. According to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center, 90 percent of sex trafficking victims in the United States last year were female. Shaheen is refusing to help these abuse victims until Republicans agree to make taxpayers finance abortions. What a loathsome, cowardly, cynical thing to do.

No surprise, actually.
Democrats are the party of slavery, rape, and beheadings.
and general death. Including for the idiots that support them.
Abortion is the holy sacrament to liberals.
Pray America is waking
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen - more liberal than Sen. Chuck Schumer even? Now that’s just plain wacky.
The ‘Jezebels’ of soviet Red Hampshire will do ANYTHING to protect their perceived ‘right’ to murder their own children, and that includes granting little Jeannie (also a ‘carpetbagger’ like Scott Brown) her every desire.
Shaheen and the IRS
by Alexander Bolton / The Hill, 2/13/14
Senate Democrats facing tough elections this year want the IRS to play a more aggressive role in regulating outside groups expected to spend millions of dollars on their races. In the wake of the IRS targeting scandal, the Democrats are publicly prodding the agency instead of lobbying them directly.
Dems are also careful to say the IRS should treat conservative and liberal groups equally, but theyre concerned about an impending tidal wave of attack ads funded by GOP-allied organizations. Much of the funding for those groups is secret, in contrast to the donations lawmakers collect, which must be reported publicly.
One of the most powerful groups is Americans for Prosperity, funded by the billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch. It has already spent close to $30 million on ads attacking Democrats this election cycle.
<><> If theyre claiming the tax relief, the tax benefit to be a nonprofit for social relief or social justice, then thats what they should be doing, said Sen. Mark Begich (D), who faces a competitive race in Alaska. If its to give them cover so they can do political activity, thats abusing the tax code. And either side."
<><><><>Asked if the IRS should play a more active role policing political advocacy by groups that claim to be focused on social welfare, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) responded, Absolutely. Both on the left and the right, she said. As taxpayers, we should not be providing a write-off to groups to do political activity, and thats exactly what were doing.
Shaheen called the glut of political spending by self-described social welfare groups that qualify under section 501(c) (4) of the tax code outrageous.

FACTS ON FILE:
<><> Dems voted to subsidize O/Care by decimating Medicare Advantage for senior constituents.
<><> Dems calculatedly kept the gruesome details to themselves while egging on loyal lock-stepping Democrats to vote for O/Care.
<><> Dems lied to Americans in a way so specific, it showed they knew exactly what to spin and how......via the infamous "If you like your health-care plan, you can keep your health-care plan."
DEMOCRAT TRICKSTERS CONTINUED:
<><> Making believe they'd actually read the ACA bill, duping voters into thinking they understood its implications.
<><> Feigning "surprise" at townhalls---when grassroots voters complained about O/Care.
======================================
Now most Americans are very forgiving----they will forgive pols most anything---EXCEPT when a pol does not understand the impact of a campaign statement.
Dems' deplorable tactics to get ACA passed---included vilifying and slandering voters.
High and mighty lock-stepping Dems blindly voting Obamacare proved to be their undoing in 2014 midterms--10 were ousted. Shaheen managed to hang on.

SEN. JEANNE SHAHEEN (D-N.H.): if you have health coverage that you like, you get to keep it My understanding
is that
if you have health coverage that you like you can keep it. As I said, you may have missed my remarks at the beginning of the call, but one of the things I that I said as a requirement that I have for supporting a Democrat bill is that if you have health coverage that you like you should be able to keep that.
under every scenario that Ive seen, if you have health coverage that you like, you get to keep it. (Sen. Shaheen, Health Care Questions From Across New Hampshire, Accessed
As a demonicrat U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen supports murder-by-abortion of unborn children. Shaheen should be one of many indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced for crimes against humanity and giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
I once participated in a start-up non-profit that planned o provide internet access and computer labs in Africa to promote economic development. At one of the planning sessions in the middle of a discussion about satellite download speeds, a woman who had joined the board suddenly got the nerve to ask the question that had been on her mind the whole time we were working on this project: “what about the condoms”?
I asked “what condoms”?
Her reply: “what’s the point fo doing any development work in Africa if we are not distributing condoms.”?
Such is the monomania of the left.
She did what the people of Red Hampshire wanted, right?
It strikes me as strange that women who are yelling loudest for the right to abortion are the least likely to ever need one.
Cloture was not achieved.
Donnelly, Manchin, Heitkamp, and Casey were the only rats to vote AYE. They are the only ones who aren’t 100% pro-abortion.
No Republicans were against it, not even the 100% pro-abortion ones (Alexander was absent). Scott Brown would have voted AYE.
(McConnell’s nay vote was for procedural reasons so he can offer a motion to reconsider or whatever, happens a lot)
Abortion is the sacred law of the democrat party.
Not to be “Captain Obvious”, but Brown, even with all his faults, would have been scores better than Shaheen.
Oh well...
The abortion industry appears to be in bed with the sex trafficking industry. And not just because of this vote.
Bump
What are they going to call assisted suicide?
planned grannyhood?
