Move to eliminate all U.S. funding for diplomacy with Iran
Congressional leaders have begun pressuring their colleagues to cut off all U.S. funding for the ongoing talks with Iran over its contested nuclear program as the Obama administration rushes to hash out the details of a deal in the coming months, according to multiple sources and a letter that will be sent next week to appropriators in the House of Representatives.
With the deadline approaching, congressional Republicans have been exasperated by the Obama administrations efforts to prevent them from having any oversight over the deal.

We are supposed to continually fall for this GOP Kabuki theater?? Boner and McConnell have already taken "Power of the purse" off the table - Obozo and his media will automaticall blame the GOP for "shutting down the Govt in the middle of our poor picked on first ever white and black young pres was trying to complete a deal with Iran". /s

How come nobody is talking about diplomacy with Iran itself? Why aren't Republicans holding press conferences and stating the obvious?

ObOzO has taken war off the table, so, why can’t the Republicans shut down the government? There are 50 states to pick up the slack.

Republicans have been exasperated by the Obama administrations efforts to prevent them from having any oversight over the deal. The constitution gives congress the power of advise and consent. Trying to pass a law to stop funding in advance would only confuse the issue. IMHO.

They can cut off the funding for the Iran deal but not cut off the funding that pays for the invasion of the US?

And how exactly do they do that when they funded everything till September 30th. Idiots! The most they can do is remove funding from the FY2016 budget, and by that time, a deal may have been already struck.
