“Scandal” star Kerry Washington will tackle another DC-insider role — this time as whistleblower Anita Hill.
Washington, who stars as Beltway fixer Olivia Pope on ABC’s “Scandal,” will play Hill in HBO’s “Confirmation.”
The flick will revolve around Clarence Thomas’s 1991 confirmation hearings for the US Supreme Court and Hill’s allegations that Thomas sexually harassed her when he was her boss at the Dept. of Education and the Equal Opportunity Commission. Hill made her allegations on national television during Thomas’s confirmation hearings.

Now HBO is creating an opening for a blatant liberal Obama cultist to bash a good man. Clarence Thomas' crime was not sexual harassment. His crime is not staying on the liberal plantation, to use Star Parker's words.
I am SO, SO glad I gave HBO, SHOWTIME and all the rest the proverbial ax. They asked me why at the vendor and I told them I wouldn’t pay for any more liberal lies and perversion.

The whole thing boils down to this: Anita was an incompetent bozo of a lawyer Thomas tried to help as a mentor taking her into government from private practice where she was close to being fired. She followed behind him in several slots

Just another attempt by the left to rewrite history. Remeber the American people initially believed Justice Thomas’ testimony that they heard with their lying ears. After a year of constant pounding by the media, the American public wasn’t so sure.
The Russians are masters of the craft, and the rotten fruit of communism is everywhere to be seen in America.
Yet to point that out to people is to kick a hornet's nest. It seems almost perfect strategy for enslaving a society that ought to know better.
This could be made into a good movie. Of course it won’t be, but in an alternative universe where far left liberals don’t control Hollywood, it could be.
The movie would be named Democrat Lynching Continues: The Clarence Thomas Story. Anita Hill would be accurately portrayed as a shrill psychotic bitch fantasizing about finding a public hair in a coke. Plugs Biden would be comic relief. At the beginning of the movie he would be bald and each scene he would have more hair as his hair plugs grow in.
Can you imagine the blowback if someone made a movie about one of the left’s black icons, or, for instance, someone made a movie digging into the less savoury aspects of MLK Jr’s career, such as the plagiarism and the alleged use and abuse of prostitutes?
Blacks are always whining about equality yet when one of them climbs the ladder and achieves success they’re always called sellouts, especially if they’re not liberal. Blacks are only fooling themselves if they think clinging onto the Democratic Party is their ladder to success. Far from it. All they have to do is look at the big cities in this country to see the devastation liberal Democratic policies have wreaked on them. Now they have to deal with being the second fiddle minority in that party with the growing Hispanic presence.

Nothing in the works about Chappaquiddick either , because it would be so hard to make an interesting drama about a woman left to drown for 9 hours by a Kennedy.
Much more interesting to investigate a woman supposedly hearing the words “ who put a pubic hair on my Coke can” and the horror that ensues.
Me too. Actually, I don’t recall ever having it, because I never watched it. My husband may have, but I know we don’t have it now. Neither of us watch teevee.
Whistleblower ? A deranged leftist nut obsessed with Justice Thomas who followed him from job to job (and ultimately pissed because he married a White woman) ? Kerry Washington is too attractive to play this whackjob.
If Thomas had been a Democrat nominee and Hill a Republican, you can guess how fast she’d have gone down in flames. I vividly remember when this crap happened, since it dominated the airwaves when I was on vacation at my uncle’s vacation home in the Poconos (I was 17 in 1991, but already quite politically aware). I hit the ceiling when they dug up this nonsense and knew it was nothing but a high-tech lynching of a Conservative Black man.
As I recall watching the hearings, those that worked with Thomas had nothing but praise for him (and when lines like the “pubic hair on the coke can”, a rip-off of a line from “The Exorcist” that Hill trotted out seemed highly dubious). I think at the time she worked for him, Thomas was a single man, so she used that against him (claiming he was obsessed with porn and the like, though mild in comparison to Bubba who was on the way to the White House the following year). A key individual in the case who would’ve been able to utterly refute or corroborate Hill had died by this point, so the media was able to boil it down to he said/she said.
But the one basic thing that stood out was this: If your boss was a perv, obsessed with sex, harassing female staffers, et al, WHY would you keep working for them AND follow them to the next job ? In the 24 years that Thomas has been on the bench, we’ve heard no lewd or lascivious actions from him since, so it seems to point to the fact this was a personal vendetta by Hill.
Unfortunately, the ultraleft Dems/media spun the whole spectacle into a “war on women” and they ran numerous Marxist dingbats the following year, whom unfortunately still pollute the Senate to this day (Boxer/Feinstein/Murray/Cantwell). It also would help lead to Zero getting to the Senate, since Carol Moseley-Braun upended incumbent Dem Alan Dixon (who voted to confirm Thomas, though later said he regretted it).
Long enough ago for people who know the truth to say “old news”, but also long enough ago for the leftist “teachers” in public schools to recommend to their students—and for the students to believe.
Pretty sad.
