On Tuesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the State of Israel reset the agenda for the Western world in a speech before a joint session of Congress.
For weeks, the Obama administration has attempted to direct attention away from Netanyahus actual agenda stopping the Iranian nuclear deal and toward petty political maneuvering over permissions to speak and Democratic boycotts. All of that fell away in the wake of a clear, powerful, and emotional call by Netanyahu for the United States and Israel to stand united against the evil terror of Iran.
Netanyahu opened by expressing his humility for the invite, calling Congress the most important legislative body in the world. He then apologized for the speech itself becoming controversial. That was never my intention, he stated. I want to thank you, Democrats and Republicans, for your common support for Israel, year after year, decade after decade. I know that on whichever side of the aisle you sit, you stand with Israel.
That clever gambit an attempt to kill the Obama administration and the boycotting Democrats with kindness placed President Obamas puerile spitefulness on Israel in stark contrast. That, of course, was the point. Every time Netanyahu spelled out the ways in which the Obama administration had helped Israel instances that were, by and large, pro forma commitments every American president makes to Israel he forced Obama into a corner. Turning the other political cheek turned out to be a powerful weapon.
Netanyahu got to the heart of his message: absolutely devastating Obamas reported Iranian peace deal. In the shadow of the Jewish holiday of Purim, when a Jewish woman pled for the survival of her people from the genocidal intentions of a Persian anti-Semite, Netanyahu echoed Queen Esthers language:

Bibi also announced that they will act to protect themselves,
The Saudis will hold their coat while they do.
Thank you, I will go do that!!
[[He was Churchillian today.]]
I wish he had also been Eastwoodian too
[[Even If Israel Has to Stand Alone, Israel Will Stand]]
A perfect scene would have been IF Benni had brought an empty chair, set it down beside him, and then looked over at it and said Mr President, Even If Israel Has to Stand Alone, Israel Will Stand
If Churchill had given his speech this afternoon, and asked, “WHAT KIND OF A PEOPLE DO THEY THINK WE ARE?”, he would’ve been referring to Democrats.
Most of the Arab countries are upset with Obama too. Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Yemen (the part Iran hasn’t taken over), Egypt, and the parts of Libya not under al Qaeda’s control.
Speaking of which, Rush said Boehner gave Netanyahu a bust of Churchill.
More "intestinal fortitude" (guts) than 20 Obozos.
Netanyahu is trying to tell everyone similarly what they tried to tell Neville Chamberlain over 70 years ago.
Most will NOT listen UNTIL the roof falls in.
I saw those reports. Outstanding. It takes guts to tell the truth when the Left will bring out their smear machine to go after you as a warmonger. Churchill had that type of courage and so does Netanyahu.
I too stand with Israel and against the evil that permeates our present government
Revelation is for the world. If you want to know what Israel does, read the Old Testament prophecies about the last days. Very interesting. Especially the prophecies concerning the nations that attack Israel. Lots of fun. kind of.
Though every book of the bible has prophetic content,
you should not limit yourself to Revelation,
but read Daniel, Ezekial, etc.
Also, “Prophecy Today” has some good stuff.
“Net just warned zero that hes going it alone. If he thinks he may not win his election, its do or die time NOW.”
I think this speech ensures his reelection.
And Jews return to Israel. Netanyahu's urging Jews in Europe to come to Israel last week was prophetic.
Nice correlation. Thanks.
And giving Netanyahu a bust of Churchill? Brilliant on two levels- honoring a statesman that is more Churchill -like than Obama but even better, showing up Obamas giving back the Churchill bust to England.
I'm Jewish, and other than your reason, nothing else makes sense. Their religion is liberalism or leftism, their Jewishness being an historical and genetic accident.
Even when I wasn't at all observant, I was always very pro-Israel. I not only saw no conflict with being a US patriot, but that the relationship produced clear benefits for both sides. But now that I am more observant, I find it utterly impossible for anyone who claims to be a religious Jew to be anti-Israel without being a bald-faced liar (and that doesn't speak well of their religiosity, either).
