President Barack Obama has the support of at least one commentator when it comes to his command of the U.S. military these days.
Fox News and The Hill commentator Juan Williams lauded the commander-in-chief on Fridays episode of the cable networks The Five, much to the surprise of the panels four other hosts.
I think he does, are you kidding? Williams said. When it comes to our military, I dont think theres any president whos expressed himself better than President Obama in terms of support of our military.
Williams was responding to a statement by fill-in host and actress Stacey Dash, who claimed that Obama had failed to unite the country during his six years in office. Upon hearing his comments, she quickly replied, Are you kidding? and You couldnt be more wrong while whipping her head in disbelief.
Fill-in commentator Jesse Watters and Kimberly Guilfoyles comments also echoed Dashs in tone. It was ultimately up to funny man Greg Gutfeld to bring some decorum back to the table, comparing Obama to a high school gym teacher with athletes he favors.
(Sadly, the shows resident liberal Bob Beckel had the day off, as his reaction would have likely been priceless.)
Williams may applaud Obamas support for the armed forces, but the love isnt mutual. A poll commissioned by The Military Times last summer found that just 15 percent of active duty troops approve of their commander-in-chief a record low for his tenure.
Juan Williams comes on media device, media device is shut off.
That’s all, nothing else.
Juan’s whole head stinks of Obama scat.
Williams has long suffered from dain bramage.
At least Obama learned the Mussolini posture of putting your nose up in the to impress gullible people.
Its worse then that!..He really thinks he has control of the “plantation” that watches Fox....Think about it!!
Yeah sure Juan. I do not know how this man and others who spout such effing lies without skipping a beat can sleep at night.
Liar Liar pants on fire.
Earlier and prior to your point, “without a smile,” I was thinking that Juan is likely believing the BS he’s dealing... so I agree.
I don’t mind arena politics, but it’s the voting idiots that become the problem.
How does that thought process work? I do not think I can ever get my mind around that one.
It's a tribal thing.
Don’t worry, Juan didn’t read it.
Well, there’s no doubt that Hitler had his fans, but President Obama is no Hitler. However, your point is valid. No matter how much damage he does, some people will still think President Obama is doing a masterful job.
I also know some posters think the president is carefully plotting the USA’s destruction, but I attribute his long string of failures to total incompetence. There is absolutely nothing in his history that proves he has what it takes to lead a nation or much of anything else.
How did Obama become popular? #1 his skin color, #2 winning elections (in large part due to #1), and #3 apparently a rousing speech at a Democrat convention.
I believe that also.
Juan Williams: a member of NAMOLA (North American Media-Obama Love Association)...
True. But he has lots of company.
Williams has to know what he is saying is a huge lie. If he didn’t back Obama, he would have to leave Fox so he says whatever he has to in order to have a job since he is their token liberal.
He [Williams] actually believes what he says.
Obama early on said/broadcast he was for change without giving details about such change. Many voters bought/gave him hook line and sinker to snare the true citizens.
Yep.
