ISIS fighters seized most of Ramadi – where 300 US Marines are stationed training Iraqi Forces.
Al-Asad base is near the city – where 300 Marines are stationed.
The US Marines at Al-Asad airbase has been under frequent attack since January.
But today ISIS seized large swaths of the city.

I have no doubt that this was a purposefully planned attack carried out by Obama.
No doubt that Obama would order a stand down, or fall back. No doubt that he would leave these Marines defenseless and to die just to ignite his petty demand that Congress backs his declaration of War against ISIS.

I was trying to research this article/set of postings and found something from an ISIS butcher who said that ISIS is receiving $600/person, with money routed through the US.

I recently heard some retired general on Fox say that ISIS was making a half million to a million a day off the sale of oil on the black market.
I wish I knew. I posted the article in hopes that our Most Excellent FReepers would get on it right away and prove/disprove the story.
I can’t imagine what it is like for people who are in the armed forces, or their loved ones, now. I sure hope the next POTUS is a better man than this one, to put it VERY mildly...

Just as Obama wants. He just went to Congress this week wanting to declare war with ISIS.
I’m convinced this is a Benghazi Redux - phoned in by the White Hut - just to get that ground war started.

From your article it says they were not able to break into the air base. Time will tell but that’s a bit of good news.

I think that’s true, but where are the supply lines? Who is supplying the material? Iran ain’t supplying them with M-16s!
