Ryan Bundy, son of Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy, was arrested Tuesday in Cedar City, Utah. Iron County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Nik Johnson said in a release that Bundy was served with an arrest warrant while at the county courthouse on a separate case. Bundy, 42, verbally and physically resisted the deputies’ attempts to take him into custody, but deputies overpowered and arrested him, Johnson said. Bundy was booked on charges of interfering with an officer, from the arrest warrant, and an additional charge of resisting arrest.

here in michigan if you are busted for possession of marywanna, you automatically get put on probation (thousands of dollars in court costs) and mandatory drug testing as a condition (you have to pay for it, again, thousands of dollars)..

if you fail a drug test, you get fined (again thousands of dollars) and go to jail, along with the court cost (again, thousands of dollars)

if you go through the probation without a fail, it could cost close to 10K..

for possession of a joint...

this is why i am against the war on drugs..

There is almost no action that cannot be turned into resisting arrest. It is the de facto tack-on charge when they police have squat.

“Hey you, get on ground!”

“What? Why? Hey, let go of me.”

Resisting arrest.

Can someone bring up to speed without pointing me to a hundred articles I'll probably not read ?

Sounds like both boys have illegal drug convictions and are on probation.

Ryan Bundy:

Bundy, a rancher and former construction firm owner, said the summons was for a code violation relating to a vehicle parked on property he owns in Iron County. He said he now lives in Bunkerville, Nevada.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the interfering with an animal control officer case stems from allegations that Bundy improperly removed a horse that had been impounded after being found loose near Cedar City Regional Airport.

Cliven Lance Bundy:

Another Bundy son, Cliven Lance Bundy, 34, is jailed in Las Vegas and faces two to eight years in Nevada state prison at a Clark County District Court hearing Feb. 4 after having been dropped from a court diversion program for violating probation.

Lance Bundy pleaded guilty February 2013 to felony burglary and weapon theft charges but had remained out of prison while he was enrolled in the drug user counseling and diversion program.

The younger Bundy is on probation for burglery and theft charges. The drug program was likely a part of the plea, so he may wind up in jail for being dropped from it. Ryan’s charge is for failure to appear in court for a interfering with an animal control officer charge.

RYAN BUNDY ARRESTED FOR WHAT?

...................

” “They asked me to make some kind of a plea or something and I said I’m not going to plead to anything until I know what it’s all about so they threw me in jail,” Bundy said. “Anyway, so I see the judge today (Wednesday) and she just said ‘Oh, we’re sorry,” and then they just let me go.”

Bundy said the court set a date he has to appear.

“When it comes right down to it, I don’t know what they’re talking about and I don’t think they do either,” he said.”

Sorry for the disqualifier Dawgg...I’ve been burned too many times by jumping on the wagon...have to take a wait and see approach and see what develops.

In my heart of hearts, I do have a very high suspicion that he is being targeted...

I would say it is a safe bet that whatever misdeed he did it was trumped up and amplified tenfold by the gub'ment LEOs as payback.

That bet would be not like money in the bank but more akin to gold buried in your basement.

Every American can be shaken down for felony charges.

The most common is on your federal tax returns. Unreported income. Scratch ticket winnings, bottle deposit refunds not reported.

Rico statutes for your weekly poker game or organizing Super Bowl squares which are organized crime.

Better watch your PC files. Somebody could attach a file in your email with a pornographic picture of an under 18 model.

If you're a teacher with traditional views on marriage don't be surprised if one of your students you counsel doesn't wack you with a sexual assault charge.

Unfortunately I could go on and on.

I was referring to the US legal system, as currently administrated.

In some cases, so am I.

Not that I’m much on conspiracy theories, but I’ve started wondering how the Bundy sons got involved in illegal drugs.
In cold war days, this was common M.O. of the Russians, pretty lady spy follows up with addicting drugs. Onward to either indebtedness or blackmail to turn the target into a mole. If that fails, let the target get outed and dishonored.
Well, fast forward back to the Bundy sons - Who got them involved in illegal drugs - and was it a setup to discredit the Bundy family?

Are you speaking of THE List, which includes Vince Foster and Ron Brown, who did not “go down alone”. Bob
