The usually grim-faced media mogul practically swooned in his seat. Moments after Jeb Bush delivered what many in the audience described as an unremarkable talk at a conference in Washington, Rupert Murdoch turned to his seatmate, Valerie Jarrett, the White House adviser, to gush over its content and tone.
Mr. Murdoch was pleased that Mr. Bush, the former governor of Florida, had listed the economic benefits of overhauling the nations immigration system, confiding in Ms. Jarrett that Mr. Bush, a likely Republican presidential candidate, had said all the right things on the fraught issue, according to three people with firsthand knowledge of the conversation.

Remember Murdoch owns Fox News, the WSJ, and the NY Post. No wonder all these media outlets are 100% in the tank for Dauphin Bush.

Jeb Bush is an unremarkable result of political privilege.
This country has given enough to the Bushes. It’s time to move on.

Note that VJ is cuddling up with GOP donors to find out who the targets are.
And again, the Bush Family doesn’t have a clue what is going on.

I do not trust Murdoch. Valerie Jarrett and Murdoch look the best of friends.

To: C19fan
Murdoch is correct on one thing: Romney can do no right.
He’s a proven loser and shouldn’t be let anywhere near the nomination.
If however, Jeb Bush gets the nomination, he and Romney will BOTH be proven losers come 2016.
No more RINOs.

Bingo. They do a good job of making it look like we have a choice, but when you go back and look over the past 20 years, it's pretty clear from the start that certain candidates were going to be promoted over others based on who their good buddies were.

Yeah, you absolutely cannot trust any of the media these days.

Yes. Ask yourself when was the last time you voted for a candidate for President you really wanted? Mine was Reagan.

Exactly. I won't be voting for candidates that I don't want, I can tell you that. That kind of voting has gotten us into the mess we are in.
To: af_vet_rr
Yes I finally realized that its the big money donors who choose our candidate every 4 years. The good people who are not multi millionaires have little chance to raise enough money to run a strong campaign. That’s one of my fears for Ted Cruz. There is not much chance that we will restore the constitutional republic through the ballot box.
