After Republicans sent mixed signals on immigration in their two official rebuttals to President Barack Obamas State of the Union address, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus struggled to explain the disparity on MSNBCs Morning Joe Wednesday.
Iowa Sen. Joni Ernsts State of the Union rebuttal made no mention of the topic, but the Spanish-language version of the rebuttal, delivered by Florida Rep. Carlos Curbelo, said Republicans wanted to work with Obama to fix the immigration system.

When pressed further on how that explained the disparity, Priebus said, I think weve been talking about this executive amnesty action that the presidents taken illegally for a long time and I think until that gets resolved its very difficult to go back and conduct any other kind of immigration reform.

I don't know if Greg Abbott's campaign site is still up but his Spanish site had no border security and maybe some BS about a broken immigration system.
Then the English site was all about border security.
BS. If they wanted a real leader of the Republican Party, they should have looked no further than Col. Allen West.
Now that is a leader right there.
Our immigrations system isn’t “broken”. It is has been ignored for over 20 years and needs to be cleaned out.
“BS. If they wanted a real leader of the Republican Party, they should have looked no further than Col. Allen West.

Totally agree.I know it is illogical, but the mere mention of the name Reince Priebus brings to mind pictures of a man even more wimpy and spongy than Dorkbama. And, given his wimpoid responses, he strengthens my premise that the GOP is dead, dead, dead.
Face it, folks, with such pieces of protoplasm defending us, we may as well just bend over and get Obama’d.
What was worse than that Obama 2015 STOU. Was the direction taken by the GOPES .Not one of those half dozen so called rebuttals made after the speech by the Republicans dealt with, nor dared to, itemize or even chatacterize those statements as lies.
The GOPES leadership (gop elite statists) learned nothing from 2012.They still seek approval from the media propaganda appar-rats which whey will never get. Believe winning political opposition strategy consists of their approach which is the use of stand for status quo we can fix the bad stuff republican cum-by ya will win in 2016. And not the defence of the constitution or of conservative values.
You start by giving out green cards (but not cheap citizenship) to the top quality illegals in return for permanent deportation of the worst dregs, then start working inward from there.
"You can't deport everybody" should not be a slogan which is translated into a policy of "You can't deport anybody."
It isn't an all or nothing proposition and it isn't our side that wants to turn it into one.
Yep. Every time I hear “broken immigration system”, my response is, “It’s not broken. If I park my car at the side of the freeway and walk away, it’s not broken down. It’s abandoned. The DC politicians in both parties have deliberately chosen not to enforce the law since the 1980s, and now they say the laws are broken.”
Reince Priebus is the Pajama Boy of teh GOP. I don’t trust a single word that comes out of his mouth.
“Priebus said, ‘I think weve been talking about this executive amnesty action that the presidents taken illegally for a long time and I think until that gets resolved its very difficult to go back and conduct any other kind of immigration reform.’”
Translation: “It’s not fair that Soetoro does it. Republicans want to be the ones who grant amnesty to millions of illegal invaders.”
It’s “Amnesty”, Jim.
The GOP establishment has a simple straightforward immigration message. Business wants cheap labor — cheap manual labor from ordinary illegals, cheap tech labor from H1B immigrants. The elite of both parties wants cheap gardeners, housekeepers, and nannies.
Two different messages? Two different target markets? Has anyone seen Rove lately?
Rinse is part of the GOP problems
I call him Prince Reibus
Amen and amen!
I think Reeces Pieces struggles with conservativism. BTW how long will my messages be “reviewed” I got a new computer and had not been on the site in 6months, I forgot my username and what email address I used to register
