A trial surrounding Rep. Alan Grayson’s wife’s alleged bigamy has been delayed due to an unlikely medical reason.
Lolita Grayson filed court papers this week saying she had been suffering from chest pains. When she went to a hospital to find out the cause, she was told she needed emergency surgery to remove her leaking breast implants and scar tissue, according to the Associated Press.
The surgery was Monday; the trial had been scheduled for Thursday in Orlando and has now been rescheduled for March.
"Due to this medical emergency, wife is unable to prepare for or attend the trial," her attorney said in a court filing.
Grayson sued her husband, the Democratic Congressman from Florida’s 9th District, for divorce last year after 24 years of marriage.
However, he said the marriage was invalid because she was never divorced from her first husband. She denies that charge. The trial seeks to determine whether bigamy was committed when the two wed.

Some plastic surgeries look okay for a while, but over time, the effect is less and less human.

Anyway, if the guy has two wives, can’t one substitute for the other one in court? Kind of like, an understudy? Or a protege? Or an intern?
Leaking breast implants? Maybe grayson should have bought top-of-the-line for his new parts and had a better surgeon re-do Alan’s chest.
He probably bought her, as no sane woman would have him!

Sorry about the double post. Found that hubby No. 1 is a Robert Allen Carson, but nothing more about him or how either man was swept off their feet by Lolita.
Maybe it was her breast implants.
