There are times when a little piece of news comes in from some far flung corner of the world and its necessary to wonder whether one should laugh or cry about it all. So it is with this remarkable story from Venezuela. The wonders of Bolivarian Socialism are so great that governors in some parts of the country have decided to ban queuing. No, really, I promise you that I am not making this up.
Heres the news about the queuing:
Governors in three Venezuelan states have banned overnight queuing amid huge and sometimes rowdy lines around shops across the scarcity-plagued country.
Shortages of basic consumer products from milk to toilet paper have worsened since a lull in distribution over the Christmas and New Year holidays, prompting many to wait from the early hours on foot or in hammocks before shops open.

Isn’t that essentially what the VA did? Bonuses depended on having short waiting lists, so they kept patients from getting in the official queue for medical services.

The only thing socialism has ever produced more of is misery.
Socialism consumes EVERYTHING.

Next, they’re going to ban eating.
And right now, at several universities in this nation, Professors are telling their students about the glories of socialism.

Venezuela did ban price increases and they also banned companies from firing employees, even if its a foreign company no longer doing business there. InBev shut down a brewery years and years ago and is still paying the workers.

This law has to have been proposed by someone who has all their needs provided for by the Government, has forgotten what the words empathy and compassion means. What if they do line up, will the fire hoses be turned on them? One expects this from the Red Chinese. I can imagine the future Senator Michelle Obama (get ready)proposing something like this, ridiculous and unenforceable.

This is pretty much SOP for any leftist run organization -
when there are negative consequences of your policies and rules,
outlaw the consequences!

Well, they may ban eating, but then people will be hungry.
Of course, they’ll just ban hunger.

Next, theyre going to ban eating.
I don't see why people are opposed to this.
Proven weight loss technique
Prevents cruelty to animals
Conserves resources and preserves the environment
Reduces burden on municipal sewage systems

Too bad they’ve just learned how to form queues. It’s been my experience that the rest of the Latino and Hispanic world don’t form queues: :(

They’re rationing queues. I do believe we have perfect socialism here.

With that, I think I finally Understand Liberals/Progressives/Communists, they would burn this country to the ground so long as they could be Kings of the Ashes. That's a great line, and TRUE!
