PARIS Prime Minister Manuel Valls declared Saturday that France was at war with radical Islam after the harrowing sieges that had led to the deaths of three gunmen and four hostages the day before, and as the authorities mounted a frantic hunt for a suspected accomplice.
It is a war against terrorism, against jihadism, against radical Islam, against everything that is aimed at breaking fraternity, freedom, solidarity, Mr. Valls said during a speech in Évry, south of Paris.

This comes from the Slimes so we have to wonder if it’s true. I wonder if he said the word “Islam.”

Really?!
Usually there is a very large gap between what Progressives say, and what they do. How great will be the gap this time.
Any bets?

Talk is cheap.
France needs De Gaulle, not Napoleon XIV!!

Your skepticism is well taken. What he may really mean by “war” is flapping the arms, cluck clucking and then “Debate,” “Discussion,” “The expression of different points of view,” and “Dialogue with Muzzies.”

Will he bring an extra big knife ?

I expect the phony French President is getting ready to give the Moslims some more money, just like the French government did last time. Extra unemployment, youth centers with minarets, that sort of thing.
Next Friday, the Muslims in France will continue to do as they damn well please, continue to wear their burkas, continue to enforce Sharia law in France, continue to prevent French law enforcement in the Moslim enclaves, all irrespective of the rhetoric and bombast from the French Government.
When is see real changes, I might disagree. I expect to seem empty words, unenforced laws and a continuation of the Conquest of France by the Caliphate.

Didn’t I read somewhere that Holder was heading over to France? I wonder if he’s going to file a lawsuit against them if they declare war on the Islamoterrorists.

No? His country is whipping a blogger for daring to be critical of Islam. Is the woman who drive her son to the hospital free? I guess it isn't radical if done in an Islamic country. And those weren't radical terrorists - what they did at the magazine would be condoned in most Islamic nations.
Heck, they'd sell snuff videos of it in Gaza, one of Frances favorite little buddies.

I believe the French should show their courage and support for Muslims by having all of their officials, police, and military willingly give up their lives by mass suicide.
Only then can the world believe France is a true multi-cultural country.
France, show us your true humanity, or shut up!

All islam is radical, it is the nature of the beast, islam means submission for every islamist it is the goal for the whole world to submit, and they are free to act friendly if it advances the goal, it is not a secret if you see them as able to fit into Western Society, they are acting.
War is not pretty and not just a word to bandied about meaninglessly. If civilization is to survive islamists must be run out of all of Western Civilization every last one of them, back to the 14th Century they passionately long for, either by their own choice or by force. I think this French Premier is talking about a War of Words no real consequences no effect...we shall see.
