Two female Marine officers who volunteered to attempt the Corps challenging Infantry Officer Course did not proceed beyond the first day of the course, a Marine Corps spokesperson confirms to the Free Beacon. The two were the only female officers attempting the course in the current cycle, which began Thursday in Quantico, Virginia.
With the two most recent drops, there have been 29 attempts by female officers to pass the course since women have been allowed to volunteer, with none making it to graduation. (At least one woman has attempted the course more than once.) Only three female officers have made it beyond the initial day of training, a grueling evaluation known as the Combat Endurance Test, or CET. Male officers also regularly fail to pass the CET, and the overall course has a substantial attrition rate for males.
"Hey Vasquez. Anyone ever mistake you for a man?"
"No man, you?"
Isn’t Demi Moore available anymore?
Effeminate Action.
That there is good.
Of course the standards will be ordered to be lowered.
After all, how does anyone think the Obamadork and the Holderdork even got INTO law school let alone graduate?
And, of course, talented A-Americans who had merit and ability such as Justice Thomas are constantly made fun of.
It is not a mans world. Men are to take care of their women. They are to do the heavy work for them so the female can take care of he family. It does not take just a man or just a woman to make a family. It takes both working together. The man must do his part just a much as a women should. Each has their skills and weaknesses. Working together they can overcome the weaknesses.
Men are chosen to lead the family but not to rule over them. They are to lead with compassion and do what is best for all. If required sacrifice themselves for the family good.
As for women in combat I feel it is a bad idea. As a general rule they are not physically capable of carrying the heavy loads required to survive. Not to mention the fact that it is distracting during life and death moments.
29 Wimmin and thousands of Men have have failed that course.....gawd damn presstitutes’n polidiots tryin to kick the flies on the cow pies again .....doom on em.
Exactly. Lower standards means substandard performance.
I like men, most of my friends are men, men are great, Mr. GG2 is great. Without women men would also be lost. There’s physical strength and there’s mental strength. Everyone has their place in the world. Its not just a man’s world. I despise that phrase because its false.
You know the saying “there’s a lid for every pot?” Well some men are physically strong and emotional weaklings. A lot times you will see them married to a small strong minded woman. The family unit is what is strong not just a man or a woman.
Hey Vasquez! Have you ever been mistaken for a man?
No. Have you?
...which are substantially higher than for the enlisted courseare unrealistically challenging, and need to be lowered.
They are substantially higher for a reason. you don’t want your officers to be at the bottom of the pack when the s*** hits the fan. You want the officer to be the last man that drops out, not the first.
Anyone know the following:
1) How many days long is the course (total number of days)?
2) How many days into the course has any woman ever made it?
“... and the overall course has a substantial attrition rate for males.”
The best female tennis player in the world wouldn’t make the men’s top100. That is why we have male and female sports, so women get a chance to play. I’ve never seen an all female war.
That is my view as well. Men and women compliment each other. One is not to rule over the other but to serve them.
A man is placed at the head of the house hold to lead the the family by serving in their best interest. The statement fortune favors the bold is true. Most men are bolder then women and must go out to provide for the family. Women tend to be more conservative and less likely to take risks. Working together they temper each other so no excessive risk is taken by the man but he still goes out to earn for them.
What most people miss is that the man as the head of the household is there to serve.
I worked construction steady in college and a few years out of college part time. In the dozens of constructions sites I worked I NEVER SAW ONE WOMAN WORKING AT ANY OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITES. NOT ONE, EVER.
The Jewish actress who played her did such a good job that people really thought she was Hispanic. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001280/?ref_=tt_cl_t7
That reminds me of when Chris Evert was married to a British player named John Lloyd. I think he was ranked in the top 100 but just barely.
Some feminist reporter was interviewing Chris and asked her how her husband liked being married to a girl who could beat him in tennis.
Evert replied that she could not beat him. She said in fact that if he really concentrated, she generally would not win a point.
The interesting thing is the reporter simply assumed that Evert was better.
I know one girl that for sure could pass the physical parts of it, not sure about the mental aspects. She has no interest in being a Marine though.
