Office: Good morning, Congresswoman Renee Ellmer’s office.

Me: Good morning. I’m a NC resident but David Price is my Congressman so that leaves me with no one to talk to.

Office: Ok.

Me: I just read an article that makes it clear how Congresswoman Ellmers plans to vote on the Boehner question today. You know, she calls herself a conservative, she was elected specifically to stop Obamacare...[interrupted]

Office: She is a conservative.

Me: She calls herself a conservative and although elected specifically to stop Obamacare... [interrupted again]

Office: In the future, you should call your own representative. Good bye.

Thanks for the Flashback! I think that Ellmers has everything to do with McCarthy's withdrawal (no pun intended) from the election for Speaker. Walter Jones' shot this morning over McCarthy's bow was a clear warning to him and the House GOP about what was in store for him and the caucus if he refused to back down.
