Warning: A Vote for Jeb (or Christie or Romney or Rubio, etc.) is a vote for Hillary
Maceman

OK. So all the "pragmatic" conservatives who bit the bullet and voted for RINOs once again in November 2014 got their reward with the Republican votes for Obama and his trillion-dollar budget increase for 2015 in the lame duck session.

These are the same people who scolded us about risking another 2 years of Harry Reid and a return of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker if we stayed home on election day.

Well, I think reality is that anyone who votes for a RINO in the 2016 primaries, or in the general election, is voting for Hillary (or Warren or whomever the Democrats choose). Plain and simple.

We conservatives need to spend the next two years pushing one simple message: If the GOPe and their moderate enablers select a "moderate" and/or pro-amnesty candidate in the 2016 primaries -- then it is they, and NOT WE, who are guaranteeing a Democrat presidential victory come November 2016.

Why? Because every self-respecting conservative will refuse to vote for a RINO presidential candidate in 2016, either in the primary or the general election.

All conservatives must pledge early and often to boycott a RINO GOP candidate.

We need to spend the next two years getting that message out -- and convincing the GOPe that we are serious about this.

We need the big donors to understand that if they put their money behind moderate GOPe type candidates, they might just as well put all their money in a big pile, douse it with gasoline and light it on fire.

If they don't heed our warning, and the primary process yields a Bush, or a Christie, or a Huckabee or a Rubio (or any other pro-amnesty candidate), the GOPe need to be made to recognize that they and their "pragmatic" RINO-enabling voters have no one to blame themselves.

And any Freeper who gives me any grief about not voting for the RINO in 2016 (those would be the ones who gave me grief about warning against voting for RINOs in 2014) can just go pound sand.

Conservatives need to be in the RINO faces starting NOW about this, so there will be no mistake. We can't afford to wait until the primaries have run their course and then start complaining after the fact.

We have almost two years to drive that message into their RINO skulls, and to shout it from the rooftops, so that there will be no doubt, and no misunderstanding, about what a conservative boycott will do to the Republican election effort.

We need to DARE the GOPe to defy us on this, knowing that their betrayal will result in a certain conservative boycott, a Democrat president and all the congressional coat-tail-hangers-on that she or he will bring along.

Don't blame us for staying home. Blame yourselves for forcing us to walk away from the Republican Party at the ballot box.

Or maybe we can all just vote for the RINOs in 2016 this one last time so we don't end up with President Hillary or Warren or Sanders, and then we'll get serious in 2018.

Please explain to me why Hilary would be worse than that.

Exactly.

Either of the last two gop presidential candidates would have us on the same vector as we are on today....just not as far along the arrow...and in so doing, they hurt the conservative cause, while Obama is strengthening it.

“America is in the toilet now because these idiots just would not get out a vote for Romney instead of King Obama.”

Not true. With either a McCain or a Romney presidency, we would still be in the toilet, just a little higher in the bowl.

“Why not write-in a vote for Ted Cruz?”

Because then half my ballot ammunition is wasted. Cruz will never win a write-in campaign. The intent of my vote, if I can’t vote for a viable conservative candidate, is to PUNISH the phony conservative who is lying to us about who he is, and lying to the public about who we conservatives are.

A vote for the dim doubles my efforts towards a RINO loss. RINOs are more harmful to the conservative movement than any open liberal ever has been.

You and everyone else who wants the best for our country needs to vet and keep vetting all who plan to run for POTUS on both sides.

But a write-in vote for a more conservative Republican individual conveys a far more unambigous message.

“convey(ing) a...message” is not my intent. Destroying the conservative pretenders is.

My contentions are these:
1) True conservatism is the only thing that will save our country.
2) RINOs (faux conservatives) hurt the cause of true conservatives by:
a) taking oxygen that could be more positively utilized by conservatives and
b) presenting a false example of what is a conservative.
3) RINO politicians cannot, and have no desire to, save this nation.
THEREFORE - the best medicine for our country is to destroy the RINO party first, allowing a true conservative party to grow in its place.

If the GOP is unconditionally destroyed, some good conservatives will be taken down as well. Furthermore, as Obama is already showing his disdain for the US Constitution can you imagine how much further a Hillary would wipe her behind with our Constitution.

Look, you are DEAD RIGHT about the primaries. And confused about human nature in the general.* BUT THE PRIMARIES DETERMINE THE GENERAL. We need to make sure NOT to vote for any GOPe in the primary.

How to do that? Many, many states have open primaries. With only hillary on the other side, DEMS will want to cross over and vote in the R primaries. The RNC is too stupid to close all primaries, and there is our problem.

The only way to get a conservative in the general is to

1. Close all primaries to pubs only (though dems could easily change parties to vote in them)

2. Somehow reach all low info R voters to explain the truths about the candidates - something powerful like the swift boat phenomenon, which FR had some hand in helping spread, and

3. MOST IMPORTANT: the RNC must REFUSE to do debates with only liberal moderators. There must be as many clear cut conservative moderators as liberal moderators in the debate season. I don’t care if they share moderation or just take on different debates. There should be a Mark Levin or a Walter Williams moderated debate. Why the HELL would the Republican Party let republican debates be wholly controlled by their “enemies,” who would then shape the lines of questioning to suit their own needs?

* it is deep within decent people’s nature to try and help their country by voting for their opinion of best candidate for the job. Most right of center people voting in the general presidential election will choose to vote the GOPe over the Dem. don’t pretend you don’t understand that.

At this point, what difference does it make if it's Jeb or Hillary?

RINOs win because conservatives do not unite behind ONE candidate in order to take out the rino. (ie see fred Thompson, Huckabee, kookpaul, etc. splitting votes for McCain.)

We now have J.Bush who is COUNTING on late in the game conservatives to split votes between the long shot conservative candidates.

On top of this people fail to realize the presidential campaign started in 2012 not now.

The real question is; Does the GOPe really want to win an election? The GOPe are the Washington Generals to the Democrats Harlem Globetrotters. Win or lose the GOPe gets paid, and that is all they care about.

We truly have a uni-party, and while not impossible, it will be extremely difficult to change things at this point.

“If the GOP is unconditionally destroyed, some good conservatives will be taken down as well.”

What good conservative would be taken down because of the collapse of the persistently feckless gop?

If the gop were destroyed, the Ted Cruzs and the Sarah Palins would lead the conservative party resurrection.

Where’s the harm? The phonies are destroyed, the true-blues are recognized and lead.

Another thread, another round of FR being used to promote RINOS and liberalism.

For all the bellyaching about morality, I have to think FR has a large contingent of people regularly visiting a dominatrix. When they aren’t in session, they come here and bleat “Thank you Mistress GOP, I’m a bad conservative! Punish me! Humiliate me! I’m your slave, Mistress!!

Because they love the suffering they get from their victimhood.
if they didn’t, they wouldn’t be trying to get people to suffer the evil with them. And in doing, have an excuse for their own disgusting cowardice.

Warning - a vote for any Bush is a vote for Billary and vote for Billary is a vote for any Bush. They are all part of the duopoly elites that give the GOP pretend “opponents” to remove any real opposition to what they’d do either as Billary or as Jeb.

Why do you think the “stupid” gop has open primaries?

Review the Thad Cochran debacle for your answer.

The gop KNOWS that closed primaries will favor the conservative candidates.
