So, the prez who ordered a slow down of illegal immigration enforcement has won in NYC with a slow down in arrests of his people. Win, win for the prez-king.

“DeBlasio is just the easiest and least dangerous to “pick on” when in fact it is the entire obola and his administration”

The real test of things will come tomorrow night.

If police protesters try to disrupt the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square, it will be a black eye for NYC, DeBlasio and Bratton.

Because the whole world’s watching.

"Once you learn your way around, NYC is an amazing city and has the best food and entertainment options in the world - "

Sorry, but any place lacking an abundance of shooting ranges does not have the best entertainment options in the world. Likewise, I'd bet I could walk virtually any block in Lafayette, LA and pass at least 2-3 restaurants that would be the equal of anything in NYC at half the cost.

The cops need to extend this stand-down long enough so that crime statistics can start to push the needle.

You swerved into something I have been trying to explain to my brother. Is the gubmint going to go after the people with no money for violations of the law...or are they going to come after YOU, because they know you have money? It is “Escape from New York” simple!

Though West Point, about 80 miles north, is well worth the trip.

Just as his Pal Obama is doing, Herr Wilhelm is doubling down against the cops.

Bill de Blasio’s Pick for NYPD Oversight Board Linked to Group in Cop-Killer Video

Evan Gahr / @EvanGahr / December 30, 2014

The lawyer who chairs the New York City agency responsible for investigating police brutality allegations has ties to the federally funded legal-aid group featured in a cop-killer video.

Richard Emery, chairman of the city’s Civilian Complaint Review Board and his own civil-rights law firm, told The Daily Signal that any perceived conflict of interest is absurd.

The Bronx Defenders, which received at least $1.5 million from the Obama Justice Department since 2009, says on its website that assistance from Emery’s firm, Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady, “makes the work we do possible.” The Daily Signal first reported the federal grant last week.

Resignation is, IMHO, too good for De Blasio. It allows him to position himself as a martyr and portray the cops as extortionists.

The lefties like to wear a Guy Fawkes mask...

So just go full Guy Fawkes medieval on him.

Yeah.

This is *almost* a time when I wish the “I can’t breathe” crowd would come out and act up. While cops are nowhere to be seen.

Maybe De Blah blah should activate the National Guard right now. In case his ferals go nuts.

The funny thing is, everything is moving along like it normally does. It’s, like, a very free feeling, like we don’t need the nanny state, we’re okay the way we are.

Of course a few pedestrians are getting cut off at the intersections, but not that much more than usual. A few speeders.

I guess it will deteriorate eventually, though.

Wake up, media. The two cop hit in NY was a terrorist attack masquerading as a ‘protester’ response.

Guess we are on our own.

We always were. Cops show up most often AFTER a crime has been committed. Police actually provide a false sense of security when it comes to crime prevention.

Someone I know recently told me his idea about guns: Make it mandatory for everyone to own a gun at the age of eighteen. That way it wouldn’t be just the bad guys who have guns.

I have to think about that one. Seems an infringement of liberty also.

He spent time in Israel.

When the REAL SHTF commences, where will the cops be? AT HOME PROTECTING THEIR FAMILIES. Martial Law will be declared and troops will have to fill the void left by the cops’ mutiny.
